These are ideal for some easily customizable DIY ornaments for your home. The balls are constructed of shatterproof plastic and are clear in color. Once you have your selected items to put inside, press the two sections together to complete the ball. They let you be creative and have been constructed to last year after year. I did not realize these were two half circles. That's my error. However, the circles didn't stay together well. I had intended to use these as a craft for elementary school students, but I quickly found out that if the ornament is dropped it pops open and all contents spill out. Not ideal.
