  • Solid material. Some holes don’t line up
Size: 07-18 Wranger JK
Overall very happy with my purchase. Front fenders went on with little to no issues. Fenders aren’t shaped perfectly so when you tighten the bolts down it will bend the fender to the shape of the jeep. But only about a 1/4-1/2 inch. If anyone is curious I am still waiting for my new inner fenders to be delivered. So I was able to cut the stock wheel wells and use some large washers and the existing stock bolts to protect my engine bay for now. The back ones took some time. First of all, if you don’t know how to use the hand held rivet set tool, the provided instructions won’t help you. But a quick YouTube search will fix that. But you will have to drill out the existing holes to make them large enough to fit the rivets. Lastly I had 3 holes on the back right fender that I could not get lined up. And one hole on the left rear fender. I thought about taking them off and drilling out the holes in the fender to make the bolts fit but after installing the bolts that did line up the fender is plenty secure so I will probably leave it for the time being. The material it’s self surpassed my expectations. They have only been installed for a day so we will see what time does to them. ... show more

Easy install having a nut setter would be easier but the included tool works fine

Instructions are not very good at all. Once you figure it out, it’s very easy.

  • So far holding up great
Size: 07-18 Wranger JK
So far after a few months there’s no signs of rust and they are surprisingly sturdy for the price, save your self the money and buy these but I’d recommend getting fender liners while you do this job as well

  • Good, low cost fender flares, but keep in mind.......
Size: 07-18 Wranger JK
This is my second set in 2 years. The first set I purchased ended up rusting up really bad. I tried to take an angle grinder and repaint, but just didn't look good. Granted I live in MN, and my jeep was outside this last winter, I don't feel the powder coating really controls our winter elements here very well. Salt is harsh, and we use a lot in MN. Not necessarily the fault of the fender mfg, but something to keep in mind. You get what you pay for, so for me, spending $1XX for a set of 4, it just seemed to make more sense to just buy another set instead of reworking the rusted ones. The one thing I noticed was, the original set I got a few years back had different holes and mounting hardware. I assumed these new ones would utilize those same holes and hardware. I ended up drilling new holes to accommodate the previous hardware and plan to put in rubber sealing grommets on the unused holes so water or grit/mud/salt does not build up between the jeep and fender flare. A little more work, but it turned out nice and looks good. So the long and the short of it is, you get what you pay for. They will last a few years if stored and run outside during MN winters. I plan to store my jeep in a garage next winter, so I am hopeful I can get a little more mileage out of this set. But you can't beat the price and the quality is acceptable. ... show more

  • Ditch the rivet setter
Size: 07-18 Wranger JK
Product itself is solid. 3 stars is for quality of instructions and quality of the rivet nut setter. Rivet nut setter busted after the first rivet nut. Go get one from harbor freight for $50 (SKU 59078). You’ll also need a step bit to take the rear fender holes to 1/2”. They are roughly $17 at your local auto parts store. Do not listen to youtube videos on the install if they say to remove material from the fenders to make the holes line up. Screw the first bolt in half way by hand and then insert the other ones 1 at a time. You can line them up visually from the backside of the fender thanks to the space you allowed from the first bolt only being partially installed. Once you’ve partially installed all the bolts, start from the top and tighten all the bolts left to right, top to bottom. If you have a Hooke Road fender liner installed, you’ll need to remove the top two screws. You can reuse these screws for the fender install in the same locations. Hope this helps someone and you don’t have to deal with what I dealt with. ... show more
