Portal fits snugly, and the case is hard side so it will protect. However, it appears to be a scaled up version of the Nintendo Switch case, complete with cartridge slots (which the portal does not use). Plenty of space in the top to store the charging cable, would be nice if there was a passthrough port for charging in the case. Also, the case arrived dirty, sealed in plastic, so I assume it comes dirty from the factory.

I really like this case for my PlayStation Portal. It's sturdy on the outside, and nice and soft inside. The device fits perfectly in the designated area, so it doesn't bounce around when I'm on the move. The top flap is a nice extra addition to protect the screen. The only thing I don't understand is what the tiny pockets on the flap are for. The zipper portion is good for keeping the cord. There was a strong smell inside the case in the beginning, but it went away pretty quick.

I am writing this review as part of Amazon's Vine Review Program This case is a perfect case for your brand new PS Portal. The inside is cut out so the Portal slides in and rests in the groove securely. There is a small flap that comes down over top of the screen to protect it from being moved or jostled around with a velcro strap to hold it closed. The outer shell of the cass has two zippers to open and shut the case and the case itself has some give to it but is firm enough to offer protection inside. The velcro strap was a little annoying to pull free but it is a minor issue for a quality product.

At first glance this appears to be a pretty decent case. It fits the Portal well and the device feels secure when you place it in the case. The zipper storage pocket inside the lid is also very nice and spacious for storing your charger, earbuds, etc. The material on the inside of the case is very plush and will certainly help protect the device from scratches. The flap that covers the screen is also lined with this material. The top of the flap contains slots for you to store your "cartridges," which is silly since the Playstation Portal has no cartridges (tell me you're repurposing materials from your Nintendo Switch case without really telling me). The biggest concern I have is with the case's shell. It feels very thin and compresses very easily when squeezed. I would not trust it to hold up if something heavy were to be accidentally placed on top of the case. This is even more dangerous because at first glance, the case looks stable and solid, meaning someone might place something even moderately heavy on top, not knowing it will get crushed like a soda can. So if you are looking for something to protect your Portal from dust and scratches, this case will work. But I would not trust it for more than the most minimal crush protection.

We received a PlayStation Portal for Christmas. To my surprise, it did not come with any sort of case to help protect it. I am so glad I found this case. It's a hard zippered case with a pouch inside to hold accessories (chargers etc.) and a custom fit insert to place the portal into. It has a soft little flap that covers the touch screen to protect it from scratches. The flap is held in place using velcro. It's nice and compact, so it won't take up much space. I feel so relieved knowing that the Portal will be protected. There were no packaging errors. All of the zippers slide smoothly. I will be recommending this case to other people! MADE IN CHINA .

This is the perfect case for the Playstation Portal Remote. I like that it is somewhat hard, so it is protective. The Portal fits in it perfectly, and there is also room for the charger, so that's great. The case has a nice carrying handle too. Overall, it is a nice quality case and perfectly fits my needs.
