Paper bubble wrap? Yes, kind of. Hard to describe but works best as a filler. I still wrap heavy or real fragile items in bubble, using this you can use less and inexpensively fill in the gaps in the box.

It really does work! This kraft paper is perforated with alternating slits. As you pull it, it stretches out in length into a mesh that cushions fragile items for shipping. The mesh tends to cling to itself, and you can shape it to fit in the empty spaces in your cartons. A 100 foot box like this is a good size to see if it's the right solution for you, and then you might want to go for a more economical 1000 foot box.

This product is so fun and easy to use. Genuinely. You don't have to save the packing bubbles from your shopping trips anymore! This roll crinkles up when your unroll it, but you can hold it down or tape it down to prevent it unrolling on its own. It gives really nice protection just from the cutting design in it, rather than needing a bunch of layers to make sure your stuff doesn't get crushed in shipping. Plus, since it's paper, (AS LONG as you don't get it soaked or a bunch of food on it), one can recycle it, helping the planet! I really like the extra stickers that say fragile, that you can put on boxes pr envelopes you're shipping. There's a decent amount of roll for your money, but before buying in bulk try one roll out first to make sure something else (like the expanded bubble rolls) wouldn't work better for your needs (say something heavy like a vase, that might shift its weight and crush the paper more than it would the bubble wrap).

I love using this honeycomb paper for packing. It doubles as filler as well as wrap so the items do not bounce around the package. For very fragile items, I do a layer of bubble wrap and than a layer of this and it keeps the items safe and sound. I highly recommend it!
