Any purchaser is bound to compare this product to the HurryCane. The HurryCane costs about $10.00 more than this cane does, and they are very similar, especially from a distance. Very similar wrist loop, but it's a little more stable than the HurryCane when standing upright. It seems to have a heftier base. The main difference is the sound it makes when hitting the floor as you use it. It's a little louder than the HurryCane and it seems to have a little more give as it hits the floor and makes a sound, even on carpeted surfaces. Is it worth the price difference? Despite the little extra noise (you can't sneak up on anyone or anything!), I believe that it is a better buy than the HurryCane. If the HurryCane came down in price (and I have owned two of them), it would be the better bargain. ... show more

    • Great cane but no replacement feet.

This is a very good cane. It is sturdy and has survived extensive international air travel. The ability to easily fold it makes it an ideal candidate for the overhead bin.. BUT.. You cannot get replacement feet. While walking in a mall I noticed that one of the feet was missing. The screw holding the foot to the bottom assembly had dropped out and the foot fell off. Fortunately I found the foot and the screw and repaired the cane. This is not a critique of the foot itself; after all my use it was still in good shape. The feet are durable. My advice is to PERIODICALLY CHECK THE SCREWS IN THE BOTTOM ASSEMBLY AND SNUG THEM DOWN IF NECESSARY, otherwise you will be buying a new cane. If you have to buy this cane again you will wind up spending the cost of its competitor from which it was copied. The competitor supplies replacement parts. The seller should work with the manufacturer to supply replacement parts. ... show more

The cane is wonderful, sturdy, comfortable, easy to use. The only con…..DO NOT trust it to stand on its own..even on a smooth level floor it will fall over. I stood in on a perfect floor today and it fell and hit a class door China cabinet. That is not a deal breaker in my case. Keep the screws in the 3 pads tightened and the lock that locks everything in place tight. I do not plan to fold it. ... show more

I just returned from a holiday in Florence and Siena. I have never used a cane before but I was worried about the amount of walking I knew I would be doing in Florence on uneven streets and sidewalks and the very steep cobblestone streets in Siena. I can tell you that it may have been the best thing I took on this trip! I used it everywhere the entire three weeks and it was such a big help in providing the balance I needed. I love the larger base on this cane which also allows the cane itself to pivot a bit on the base. It feels much sturdier and safer to walk with than my previous 3-small-footed cane, so I am well pleased with my choice. I am hoping also that this cane will last more than just a few months as that is way too short a time to keep having to replace a cane such as the one I had before. ... show more

My mom had a brain bleed and had to basically regain her ability to walk. She needed some extra support so I gifted this to her. She LOVED this. It has little safety cups on the bottom so she wont slip. This is also her favorite color and looks great!

Good cane but there is virtually no padding on the handle. It made my hand so sore that my husband cut up a pool noodle and attached it to the handle.
