Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works great love how it can transition. My daughter has a small room and wants a desk so this was a good alternative. It is pretty small though she is a tall 8yr old but she will use it still. The desk can get a little shaky so I always tell her to be careful and not to leave the table down

Not sturdy, rattles because screws easily come lose. If it was sturdy it would b perfect but it is not. Screws & nuts are not common in d USA. U must have your own tools. Not easy to assemble.

My great-grandson loves this sweet child's bench to climb and sit on, to open and pull toys out and also, to put them back. It converts easily into a desk for coloring, is sturdy and will be useful for years. The lid stays open and does not hurt his fingers when it closes because of the grooves. His mom & I love it for its rounded corners, natural wood classic design and convertibility. It looks beautiful in the room. Very happy with this!
