  • nice large pads, good absorbency & they don't leak
Size: X-Large - 28" x 34" Unit Count: 40
O.M.G. These pads are great!!! They have saved my back & my sanity....We recently took in two strays and now have eight cats. Things have been getting messy lately. I use these under my kitty litter boxes because we have one or two that sometimes like to go near the box but not in it. They seem to be doing it more since the arrival of the new kitties. I try to scoop & clean the boxes several times a day to make sure they have a nice clean place to go, but it never seems like enough. and sure enough every day now i find pee pooling up under the box. after two weeks of this i got REAL sick of having to mop up the tile and clean the floor and underneath the boxes every day.... Initially i tried out some puppy training pads from the dollar store that are standard 20 X 20 size. they worked ok. but with those smaller pads i needed four overlapped to cover the area properly and the cats were always managing to scoot them around. With these larger pads i only need two pads overlapped to get the job done. they provide a lot of coverage and they never rip or leak. less trouble with the cats scooching them out of place too. In my experience they hold the urine very well. If one of the kitties lets loose very near the edge of the pad then there might be some spillage, but otherwise they work fabulously. Looks like some people saying they leak while the majority of us don't have that problem. I've only ever had a problem with the pads holding when one goes near the edge, and i've never had the bottom leak or break on me. I was thinking that perhaps it has to do with the volume of liquid the pads have to hold. I only have cats, no dogs, but two of my boy kitties are well over 20 lbs. The Biggest is 24.5 lbs and he makes quite a large puddle when he goes. If he goes too close to the edge of the box it sprays out over the edge. These pads holds his mess just fine. Maybe for large dogs they are not heavy duty enough, but i think for small & medium sized animals they should work well. ... show more

  • Great for diaper changes!
Size: Small - 17.5" x 23.5" Unit Count: 120
These are perfect for changing diapers! I use them in my home daycare for each diaper change and they are really effective and easy to store as well. They are big enough to provide coverage for the more messy diaper changes, which helps keep the changing area clean and sanitary. They also meet state standards for family childcare in my state, which is a huge plus! We have an older cat who is having incontinence issues in a specific part of the house, so I use these in that area as well. The cat pees on them at night and when I change them in the morning there is no leakage underneath (I still sanitize the area of course). I love that I can knock out two birds with one stone with these and after a lot of research I feel confident that these are the best bang for my buck! ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised!
Size: Small - 17.5" x 23.5" Unit Count: 120
Having a brother and sister Chewinee, and having up rooted them numerous times in their 6 years, I have kept a pee pad inside for any accidents. I have tried at least 65% of all pee pads. Large ones and small ones. Pads that claim to absorb a tremendous amount of urine, and those that absorb only a small amount. Large in size as well as small ones. I have been very disappointed with almost all of the different companies that make pee pads. There is only 1 company , that I have used frequently, that works well. The only downside to those pads , the are VERY EXPENSIVE. That’s why I wanted to try something different. What I NEED and consider to be a great pee pad, is this; • a pad I can take directly from the package, and not tear when I open it up • a pad large enough to be peed on 2 our more times, and not be completely saturated. • OF MOST CRITICAL IMPORTANCE to me is; to find the pee pads useful and to purchase them again, is to NOT LEAK URINE OUTSIDE THE PAD.Any amount. I have yet to find a brand of pee pads that can achieve all of the criteria I have, except the expensive ones , Unit now. I was not expecting these pads to work. I was waited on my “ regular pee pads, but delivery got delayed. Not knowing when I would finally receive my order, I had to order something, that would arrive the following day and hopefully work out to some extent. I I looked at the large variety of pads, and they all claimed to be the best. I had to order something and I happened to order these. Wanted inexpensive pads , hopefully, needing them for only a short time. The order arrived without any problems. It only took a day to deliver as well. So I opened the package, took several out, expecting to have to change them often. To my absolute surprise , these pad’s absorbed very well. I didn’t need to change them often, as I assumed I would. The size was perfect for me as well. I absolutely would recommend these. You get a lot of pads, for not a lot of money! I hope you try these. I think you will be excited. ... show more

  • Update on the newest version Update on the newest version
Size: Small - 17.5" x 23.5" Unit Count: 120
Update June 11, 2022: I have been buying these pads for years now, and I’ve been very happy with them. However, this last shipment I received contained noticeably thinner pads than the usual. They just feel really flimsy, as opposed to the stiffer, thicker pads from all the other shipments. This company has been cutting corners for a while now, changing the shipment from a box to a bag, which is OK. But making the pads thinner? Not acceptable. I’ve left my previous review here below. I did take off one star for the change in quality. Previous review: These pads work very well! I do not recommend letting it get soaked all the way through. It's good for about two or three uses. My Pomeranians don't like using pads that look dirty. Lol. They are very clean little creatures. The pads are great for everyday use, or for those days when you don't want to take them out, because of inclement weather. It's also handy for when they wake up in the middle of the night, and they want to go. Update: I have been using these puppy pads for my dogs for years now, and I continue to be a repeat customer. My dogs use them anytime it’s raining, and they can’t go out, or just at night, when they suddenly feel the urge… These pads are sturdy and very clean. For extra protection, I use them in a litter pan lined with newspaper, to avoid side wetting. They are the best! Update July 9, 2022: I purchased another bag of these training pads, and although they are still not as thick and absorbent as the earlier versions, this batch was slightly more absorbent than the previous batch. Some of the moisture leaks through the bottom, for some reason. Still, this remains the best value on Amazon. So I’m adding another star again. ... show more

  • Use for cat, updated review.
Size: X-Large - 28" x 34" Unit Count: 40
These are very large and do a good job of absorbing odor and liquids. The price was very good too, which was a big deciding factor as I am now using these in lieu of litter for my cat. My male cat will not use a litter box, but will use these, if taped up against a door or wall (half on door, half on wall). He will scrunch it up after use, but one plus of this pad being so large and heavy is it won't stay scrunched up. It is super easy to pick this up for disposal and put down a new one, and there just isn't much of a residual smell. You have to resign yourself to the idea that this is a single or at the most double use item, but the trade-off in terms of no smell and ease of clean up and HE USES IT!! is good enough for me. However, the minus is that other brands have some sticky material on the corners. Without that, I have to use tape to keep them attached. UPDATE: We have been using this brand now for quite some time. My cat has COMPLETELY quit marking any other part of the house, and only uses these pads. My days of searching the house for places he marked are gone! I don't mind the tape problem so much anymore, I use masking tape. But recently there has been a change I do not like. Amazon carries this as an Amazon Prime item, but will not guarantee 2 day delivery, saying it can take 3-6 weeks for delivery. This is really inconvenient, not knowing when I can reorder. But of all the different brands, this one is the best, so from a product perspective, this is the one to get. UPDATE: No problems ordering it anymore through amazon prime. Easily get two day delivery. Been using it for literally years now wouldn't buy anything else. Can last through several uses. Doesn't leak through, contains well. My vet told me that some people put down their cats and/or give them away if they have problems with their cat urinating outside a box like we did. This is definitely an option to try first. Takes up no more space than a litter box, and honestly there is less smell and mess. ... show more

  • Thick and Absorbant
Size: X-Large - 28" x 34" Unit Count: 40
Reading all the reviews of various puppies and older dogs who need puppy pads and I had to laugh.. you ain't lived ladies until you have kitchen goats - These work great for a playpen full of baby goats - and more importantly.. I have a blind 75 lb goat who sleeps in the kitchen at night.. she is 9 and has never slept outside - so puppy pads it is.. now her and her almost 3 year old daughter (can't separate them) both sleep in the kitchen at night.. I use one of those doggie playpens that have 8 panels you can shape any way you like.. it goers under the table and then out in an off shape.. and fits 5 to 6 28x34 large puppy pads .. hay on top.. EVERY DAY .. yes E V E R Y day .. you would be surprised how much pee these things old.. I overlap them slightly for overflow and have little mess in the mornings.. there are some leaks at times.. when they go too close to the edge.. but you figure .. a 75lb goat and her 90lb daughter.. both peeing on them all night long.. not bad.. this brand is thicker than other brands.. so you get no complaints from me.. ... show more

  • Recent Quality Issues...
Size: Small - 17.5" x 23.5" Unit Count: 120
Sent the following to Honey Care: I have been a long time user of your Honey Care 17x23 pads and found them to be an exceptional product. I purchase them from Amazon. Recently the pads have changed the imprint pattern from cross-hatch to a bone and heart design and are noticeably thinner and less absorbent...they leak. Is this a one time situation or a permanent change to the product. I am on the automatic shipment Amazon purchase plan and need to know if I should stop this plan due to the poorer quality of the new pads. Please advise. ... show more
