I wear lots of tights, and I'm always on the hunt for ones that fit. I need to lose SOME weight but the way I'm built it's just always going to be a problem. I'm rocking 26" thighs and I got the 5-6X. Measure yours and use that as context for my review! Material: Out of the package these are whisper soft, and the outer feel is nylon/stocking material 100%. The interior has a substantial plush, velvety lining. Out of the package they had a slight soapy (?) musky (?) odor but it wasn't unpleasant? I ran them through the wash and they still retained some of it. Who knows, honestly? Amazon warehouses are, I'm sure, a nightmare box of smells. Construction: No control top, no reinforcements anywhere. Same material from waist to toe, all fleece lined inner with nylon stocking outer. The top features double seams in the rear for extra support and a massive, soft lay-flat waistband that is easily among the most comfortable I've ever contended with. Appearance/Opacity: Matte black, minimal sheen. No denier rating on packaging but by appearance they're similar to 100D. They will hide 100% of leg hair regardless of how thick or dark and they will hide tattoos fairly well if not entirely. Truly opaque, in most lighting I'm pretty sure nearly zero of my skin tone appears through these. Fit: They just about glide on, probably owing to the minimal stretching they can/need to do. These sit fairly close to true size when not being worn and stretch much less than some tights I have owned. Still, they do stretch and they do not bunch or bag in any major way - some minor bagginess noted behind the knees and ankle, but only when bent. The waist band does not roll or dig and sits well above my belly button. In general wear these are super appropriate for winter time, but they aren't stiflingly warm and they definitely aren't locked into that. These would work just fine in an air conditioned office, for instance. They're breathable and they don't shift around or fall out of place. These are honestly so comfortable I just find excuses to wear them, even around the house. They're durable enough that even with near daily wear for the last few weeks and wash cycles to match they still hold up. Some minor exterior pilling but no runs or picks or anything close. Easily worth the price. As a final side note, I have to nominate these for funniest packaging of all time. They come vacuum packed into a flat, vinyl record-sized square piece of stiff plastic. It hisses when you open it. It's delightful and I hope the 4 more I ordered right away come together like some sort of bizarre record collection. Overall, as soon as I tried these on I ordered 4 more pairs in the other colors. Highly recommend.

I like that they’re not fully see-through. They’re very soft. They do keep you warm. They do get snagged on stuff though. But they look nice. They feel nice and it’s a good price.

I have bought these in 8 different colors because they are so great. They go on easily and are very soft inside, plus they stay up and look good all day at work. Strong and durable, easy to wash in a mesh bag in my machine. I am 5’8” and weigh around 310 pounds, and the 5x/6x size fits perfectly.

I bought these in anticipation of a formal event I had to attend. There was some time when I had to stand outside in a dress, or walk to and from the parking garage, in single digit temperatures. I'm pretty sure these tights saved me from a very unpleasant night. While I wouldn't exactly say I was warm, I was not freezing my legs off. I was pretty comfortable all things considered. They also weren't sweltering indoors, just warm when I needed them to be. The quality seems like it's there. They didn't run the first time I put them on. And they fit comfortably. I carry my weight around my middle and I had no problems with these rolling down, pinching, or bunching. I plan to get another pair in a different color.

I have to return, I’m 5’7” about 210lbs size 16-18, bought my usual size 1-2xl & couldn’t even try them on. The waist was at least 4-5” too small. My waist is 40” so sizing is way off. Kinda thin as well, very much tights. I’d consider re-ordering in the 3x (I’m not a fan of compression wear) but I do prefer footless tights anyway. A bust for me.
