Love this generator! Runs alot quieter than others and starts very easy even without using the choke when its very cold out. Totally worth the money.

    • Unnecessarily difficult assembly
Some of the bolts for the axle and stands were difficult to get a wrench on. An ammeter would have been nice.

I waited to write a review until I had experience in a power outage. Power went out for 10 hours. Ran the house with 2 free standing AC units all night. Consumed about 7 gallons of gas. Started right up and ran smooth. Rained all night and the GenTent 10k Stormbracer kept the unit completely dry. I didn't want to have to build an enclosure. All I have to do is wheel the unit outside the garage , plug it in and start it up. Spending more money on a quality Honda generator is worth the peace of mind. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for!
Anyone could start this and it will do most of a 2800 sq foot house! Don’t forget to buy oil and a generator cord also. I get why they don’t put it in the engine, but it should at least be in the box so you can run it immediately after getting home.

No problem getting generator set up to go, only small problem I saw was the space for the battery is too small to up hook up a battery tender or to lock the battery in, it can be done but not easily. Other than that the best generator I have ever owned and love the fact it is a Honda
