I have used wire cube storage for 30 years. I needed more. I bought these and they are NOT like the other wire storage units. My h more thin and less robust than previouse wire cubes I have bought, including ones from last year. I'm not happy that I cannot use these my existing wire cube system, but I have an area that they can be used as a stand alone system so that is what makes them functional and since these will be used to sort sewing material, they seem adequate for that type of weight. Probably 8-15 lbs each cube. A nice bonus is this system had "foot pegs" which elevate the unit up about 2" ... show more

Using this in closet on floor to store sweaters and other seasonal stuff. Fits well in our space and good holding capacity. Assembly was not a breeze and I don’t think I’d want this anywhere that visible due to using included zip ties to secure most parts (not the cleanest looking set up for storage) but great for inside closet. ... show more

Purchased these to store an assortment of craft supplies and materials in cube storage bins. They do that pretty well. You really, really, have to lean on the pieces to snap them securely into place. You have to store heavier items at the bottom, and use the earthquake strap or else it's absolutely going to be "rickety". I intend to buy more in the future, so obviously the drawbacks aren't enough to be a problem for me. ... show more

This unit is perfect for creating storage inside closets. Took me about 10 mins to assemble, tops and I didn't need the hammer they supplied. They key was hearing that "click" before adding the next shelf. Very functional and so far, is working great. I really like that I can add additional units if I ever need to expand the number of shelves I need. My only criticism is that I used the sizing mentioned in the product description, but this does not include an additional 1-1.5 inch width due to the round clips and the unit very nearly did not fit in the space got it for, which would've been massively annoying. ... show more
