The HomeSpot Bluetooth Adapter Pro is a must-have accessory for the Nintendo Switch. Design I appreciate the very sleek and low-profile design. The LED panel makes it clear what functions are going on. Also, the LED panel does not stay lit the entire time so it is not distracting. I did have to remove my case in order to connect the adapter to the USB-C port but it isn't really a major issue. Audio It has great connectivity with no latency. Its perfect for listening to music and in-game audio while playing video games. You can also take phone-calls while playing video games and the game audio does not mute. Music will continue when calls end if you were listening to music previously. The internal mic works perfectly for in-game chat like fortnite. I also use the adapter to connect to my work desktop to participate in meetings or calls and my coworkers can hear me just fine. Functionality The set-up guide is very simple to understand. Connecting your headphones and smart device is quick and I like that the HomeSpot Pro will recognize the headphones so you don't have to reconnect each time. Being able to adjust game audio and smartphone audio is a great feature to have and is simple to do using the volume controls on the HomeSpot Pro. As mentioned earlier, the LED panel makes it clear what functions you are performing. Overall the HomeSpot Pro is a very useful accessory to have especially since the Nintendo Switch does not have bluetooth built-in. The design and functionality of the HomeSpot Pro stands out and brings it above any competitive devices. You can't use your own microphone. I wanted to use my air pods pro microphone but it won't let me. Waste of time. Don't use this product. The mic quality on the home spot pro is trash and not clear.

They are really good but a few things that you should know before you buy a pair: -If you're headphones do not support aptx the switch audio will have about 1 second of delay - The instructions are a bit complicated so read the user manual And this might change how you play the switch simply because it's extremely convenient ... show more

Definitely the best Bluetooth adapter for the switch that exists. I own the previous version of the homespot adapter but this one is far superior with the built in mic and phone connectivity. I like to listen to music and YouTube videos while I play and this can do just that flawlessly. Definitely worth the upgrade highly recommend. They are also working on a phone app right now that has an equalizer so you can adjust the settings. Looking forward to seeing what else this company has to offer. In the meantime give this a go don't waste time messing with other adapters. ... show more

    • There's only 2 things that could be a little better.
**The two small issues I have with this product are at the bottom of this review** This device is great. It took a couple of tries on my Samsung S21 Ultra to get the device to play music from my phone and play the game sound. But once I got it going it was just fine. As far as team chat goes, I know a few other customers had issues with being able to use the mic in their ear buds with this device. TBH so did I. But not a big deal. If you have an Android you can set it in the media controls to use your phone mic while playing the sound to your buds. I haven't tried the device's built in mic. But that's not the device's fault. It has to do with your phone's or computer's device drivers. But other than that this device functions and looks just as described. Shipping was fast and the customer service is great. They were available to answer all of my questions. So the one of the things that I wish could be better is the case. The case is a soft nylon envelope type of case. It does little to offer protection to the device. And since it is so small if this case gets smashed in a pocket or something the USB-C port is going to snap right off because of the way it pokes out. This thing being so small really needs a sturdier case. Especially since children 16 and under make up over 70% of Switch users. The second issue is that it could also be beneficial to put little nubs on either side of the USB-C port that could line up with the holes on either side if the port on the bottom of the switch to provide better stability. Again, because of kids being rough. If not for those two issues it'd absolutely be a 5 star product. But all in all it is a fantastic product, better then the two other devices I've tried, and I've got zero buyer's remorse. ... show more

I know most people buy this to pair with headphones, but for me it was a super easy pairing with my desktop bluetooth speakers (AudioEngine HD3). Pushed the pairing button on the HomeSpot, pushed the pairing button on speakers, connection established within 2 seconds. Highly recommended.
