Not only does just look good, but it actually holds a lot of stuff! The little hooks on the side are an added bonus. Also, the ladder on the other side is really convenient for hanging scarves and different items. Putting it together was pretty straightforward. Happy with my purchase!

This is gonna be lengthy. Overall, this is a nice rack. I was disappointed because it isn't as large as I'd hoped but that is my fault, I didn't pay close attention to the dimensions. That said, there's still lots of space for stuff. The instructions are great and assembly isn't really difficult but it's gonna take a while. There's LOTS of parts involved so keep them near to you while you assemble it. It includes simple tools to accomplish the assembly but I found you need a couple of additional things to make it simpler. First, get a set of channel-lock pliers and an old crew sock. You'll need this to hold the long rods on the bottom steady while you tighten the screws into each side without marring the finish. Second, you'll want something to use for leverage when tightening the hex screws because the supplied wrench is so short you can't get adequate leverage to tighten them without becoming fatigued in the hands and wrists. Third, get a real wrench (I believe it's a 1/2" or 13mm) to tighten the casters with. The supplied wrench is very thin and hurts your hands when tightening the casters in place. I personally advocate putting the screws in the spots they belong BEFORE tightening them so everything cinches up correctly when you get it assembled and this is no different. I found that working in thirds while assembling gave me the best outcome. It seems like there's a hundred rods, screws and pieces of wood to deal with but they are all identified very well so there's virtually no way to mis-identify the pieces you're assembling. Count on spending an hour or better for putting it all together and tightening everything up but when you finish it is deceptively strong and looks really good. ... show more

It’s a little flimsy and smaller than it appeared in pictures. I wouldn’t suggest hanging any heavy coat or jeans on it. It will tip over.

    • Great Garment Rack, Very Difficult To Assemble - Bad Instructions

The garment rack itself is nice and looks good. The instructions are not good, though. Very hard to read and follow, and there were times after I installed something only to realize it was backwards. I've assembled plenty of IKEA furniture, so I'm clear it's not me. Look at the other reviews. It's still nice and worth getting, but it'll be easier if you have 2 people to assemble this. I hardly write reviews on Amazon but after seeing some bad reviews I had to put in my own experience. First off, this is technically a 2 people job and possibly 3rd just in case for extra help. I’ve seen a lot of the bad reviews how it’s very difficult to assemble but when you have 2 or 3 people involved, not exactly. It’s just like putting a puzzle together. 2nd, get yourself a drill to speed up the process. You only get a tiny tool to help you and if you want to be stress free, get yourself a drill. Lastly it’s actually shorter than what I had in mind (I’m only 5’0 ft and I’m taller than the clothing rack part) but I really like it anyway. It’s very study and as a plus size gal, it definitely holds my all of my clothes plus some towels and coats great. Overall, it’s great! I definitely recommend it and the aesthetic is so nice! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Maxi dresses will drag on the floor by about 6 inches or so. Otherwise the long side fits jeans and midi/ short dresses. I love that it’s made out of bamboo, a sustainable product. The shelves are perfect for shoes or purses. The directions need significant work. It’s only one page and the pictures are very tiny. Also the direction of the object changes where A starts on the left but in the middle changes A to the right which is confusing.
