I would give this item 5 stars, but the adjustable hinge was broken when I received it. I contacted Amazon and asked them to contact the seller about sending me a new one and just replacing the broken one. Well, the company did send me something, but it was the assembly parts for the desk and not the part I actually needed. Hopefully they see this and contact me about sending me the part I actually need. Otherwise, the desk is as described and fairly easy to assemble. The only other thing that bugs me is that the assembly parts are a different color than the frame. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed a desk with an easel but where my paints could be close by. This was perfect. It’s pretty sturdy and not too awful hard to assemble although I had to recruit my husband to help and he was finally able to figure it out. The instructions were not easy to follow for me. It feels sturdy and it’s not too big or small. Would be great for any kind of artist, young or old. The easel adjusts and I love that! Can’t wait to paint! ... show more

Instructions dont make sense. There are parts it instructs you to attach to other pieces yet there isnt a way to do it, (no holes to insert any screws). There was one screw opening covered by metal. The most annoying part is the lever youre supposed to install at the end only to discover it doesnt clear the back piece of wood. And the way the lever works, it has to be fully extended in order to go back down again. So you have to either not have a desk that extends or chose to have it permanently extended where it comes in constact with the back peice of wood. I wasnt expecting perfection at this price but I was at least hoping to have a functional drafting table. Extremely disappointed. ... show more
