OK, Let me start off by saying I have a few different Drones made by this company. I DO like them, They fly nice and very good for beginners. However I Think they missed the mark with this drone. The Little and very light HT25 by Holyton Mini foldable Drone Has quite a few nice features. I do like that you can hold it in the palm of your hand toss it in the air lightly and it launches. Mine seems hard to keep trimmed, Every time I change the battery I have to trim it again, SO Before I even take off I Trim it, Mine always pulls forward and to the left, So I reverse that before take off. I really don't like the way the propellers come off every time you tap something, which results in a crash, ALSO The props should really be a BRIGHT color, to make easier to find them, I had one come off in my living room, took 10 min to find it. I suggest painting them lightly with a bright color. And the prop guards are pretty much useless, They are so narrow they do not protect the prop, and like stated earlier, if you touch anything with a prop, They just come right off then crash. I Really like the way it folds up to be put away. Battery--- I was getting about 9 > 11 min of flight time per battery. Depends on how much throttle you use. IF there is any wind outside be very careful, this drone is Very Light and the wind blows it all around. In windy condition IF you fly,, make sure you use the higher speed setting to help combat the wind. On the APP- Mine was rather jumpy lot's of Lag. could not take my eyes off the drone to watch the phone screen in fear of crashing and loosing a prop, I Paid $70.00 for this drone, Now that I have flown it I would say it is over priced, a good 30 > 40 dollar drone. ... show more

I don't have the best hand-eye coordination so I had my doubts about getting a drone but now I'm all-in! With minimal knowledge of drones, I picked up the controls pretty easy. One button launches the drone into the air at about 5 feet where it hovers and waits for direction. Up, down, forward, back, turn left, turn right seems confusing but I started with just forward and back, side to side. Got the hang of that in the first battery. It has two speeds, it starts in regular, then just push down on the left stick, it will beep twice, then it moves much quicker. It is very responsive in regular mode but if there is a breeze, I'd increase the speed. Start out in an open area where you have plenty of room, it does have a panic (land) button so you don't have to worry about losing it. It will also land itself if it gets out of range. Once I got comfortable with flying, I connected my phone and took some pictures. The first is my job site and the second is a park I was at today. The camera is pretty good, the best pics are when it is hovering. It's hovering above my head, just out of Bella's reach in that third pic. I would highly recommend this drone to anyone new and interested in the hobby. I normally try stuff, break it, then quit but not this time. The drone has handled some heavy abuse from my learning curve as well as getting mauled by my dogs and is still going strong. Be patient and have fun! ... show more

    • NOT FOR KIDS and App is terrible.
The drone is far too hard to control for kids, heck it's hard to control for me. I have been flying hobby drones for about 4 years and this has to be one of the worst ones. You will have to trim this drone every 2-3 minutes. The app is essentially useless the camera is way too laggy for First person flight. The hover mode doesn't work even after trimming. The controller is way too reactive and the in app controller is basically non-reactive (about 2-3 seconds between button press and drone movement) not to mention the app has trouble syncing with the drone far too often. The charger cords are so cheap that I don't expect them to last very long. Overall don't get this drone unless you just want to use it for comparison against a drone that actually works. Edit 6-3-2022: the customer service team reached out to me and sent me a replacement and was very courteous. The replacement doesn't have the trim issue and overall flies much better however the issues with the app and camera remain the same. ... show more

    • Easy to use, great customer support
I got this for my son (and will enjoy using it myself as well 😀) to learn to fly drones. We went with Holyton because he also has a robust RC car from them, and it's worked very well - both for learning and has been robust. It was easy to get set up and pair with the phone for video. It required only a little trimming (calibrating to fly straight) which is common for any drones - at least around this price range (not sure about the really expensive ones). Unfortunately, while trimming we may have overcompensated and the drone hit the corner of house (we had the fenders on, but how it hit the corner likely avoided those fenders) and the rotors wouldn't start even after restarting the drone, trying the second fully charged battery, etc. I emailed Holyton explaining what happened and they sent me a new one very quickly: great customer service! When we trim this one, we'll go down the road a ways to his school and use a more open space, but I'm sure will work just fine after that. Even when the trim was slightly off out of the box, my son was able to control the drone quite easily and really liked the video quality. ... show more

    • Cool little drone!!!!!!
This is a cool little drone. I actually like the small size, you can easily fold it up and take it anywhere. It has two speeds which is helpful if you’re a beginner – if more comfortable, we always fly at the faster speed. One word of caution, with it being small you need to fly with minimal wind, otherwise it can be a little more challenging to fly. For the size and price, it has some really great features. FPV (first person view), 720P HD, and solid maneuverability. This is the only drone we have with voice control and I was surprised how easily it worked, very cool! Overall a great drone for the price. We have a number of Holy Stone drones, all have been great. A couple times we reached out to their customer service, they are AWESOME and very responsive.
