I already own the original HS440, So when I saw that Holy Stone added GPS to this drone I had to get it and I have to say it's a nice improvement, the drone looks exactly like the original 440, but now that it has GPS it is a lot easier to fly it, especially in a little bit of wind, the drone handles great for not having brushless motors, although I am hoping that they will add brushless motors to it soon, all the GPS failsafe features work really well and I am pretty impressed at how accurate the return to home feature works, the drone pretty much flew back and landed directly in the center of my landing pad, I also like that this drone now has intelligent features like, follow-me, waypoints and point of interest, and they all work pretty good, the camera on this drone is pretty decent, it can be adjusted up and down from the controller and it does record video in 4K but only if your using an SD card, the pictures and videos have good clarity, but the camera is not on a gimbal so the videos can be a little shaky if there is a little bit wind, the drone also only comes with one battery, the battery life is pretty decent though, depending on the wind and the speed you're flying in, I was able to get close to 15 minutes or so on a fully charged battery, another feature I really like is that the drone weights under 249g so it does not need to be registered and it doesn't need remote ID, overall I am really happy with this drone. ... show more

For the money you can’t beat it. Decent pictures., easy to fly, and durable. Two down sides, the batt and it takes a while sometimes to link to the remote. I would buy again. Here’s some pics I took.

The media could not be loaded. I'm so excited to receive my new drone. Excited to take it out and fly it. I'm new to flying drone so I'll to practice with it.     • Good for Beginners
In terms of affordability, this drone performs better than most, but still has some mishaps here and there. Foremost, the battery life is limited to about 20 minutes from a full charge (takes about an hour and half depending on outage output), and as it creeps closer to low battery status the drone shows visible signs. It becomes weaker, and the response time is slower than before. One of the nice things about this drone is that the controls are user-friendly to the point that it is overtly manageable by today's youth standards. The quality of the video/pictures is okay, but don't expect it to be the same caliber as the popular iPhones version. Another great thing is that this drone is compact and easy to store or carry around so no need to worry about bulkiness that normal inflicts the premium drone versions. The auto-return function is a nice safety net to have, and it performs as needed...as long as the GPS is functioning properly. I did have issues with the GPS function though I believe there were too many variables with other devices to be completely fair to say it was only the drone to be acting up. ... show more

    • Even my dad was able to fly it!
I got this for my son as he loves anything remote controlled. We brought it over to my parents' house and my father who is closing in on 70 was even able to fly this thing! We had a bit of trouble with the initial setup, but for this I can only blame myself for not reading the instructions carefully enough. We couldn't get the propellers to unlock for takeoff, but it turns out we had not followed the instructions for the calibration procedure fully. Once we resolved this issue, we were off to the skies! Overall I am very satisfied with the app, as it is intuitive and easy to use. The drone itself is stable and works well even with a slight breeze. It's got the power to fly against the wind within reason. It's responsive and hovers steadily. As far as the camera is concerned, don't expect to have professional drone footage. I've seen worse, but it's pretty shaky and a bit glitchy. However, given the price point, it's what I expected. It's fun to see your neighborhood from a different perspective! Overall, as a first drone for a budding enthusiast, this is a great place to start instead of dropping double or triple the money for something that will likely be crashed by an inexperienced pilot. Speaking of crashes, this one has taken a couple tumbles, but aside from some light scratches it's still in good shape. I'd definitely recommend it! ... show more
