RC, drone or anything of the sort. I've burned through two batteries without incident in beginner mode and done almost all the features but the gesture thing. Follow me gps, OK Follow me visual, OK Orbit, a bit hinky to figure out what point it will orbit Auto take-off, OK Return, OK but misses take-off location by up to maybe 3 feet. Used a sheet of plywood for landing pad Limits of travel, OK, alarm Way points, not tried, too close in Camera, OK but have not formatted the card for onboard stuff, photos clear and crisp Link to iPhone 11, OK but can't reach buttons and keep phone on. Screen / battery saver location eludes my memory All calibrations, OK Moderate wind, OK, you can hear it wind up to keep position when hovering Hard to see at high noon and direction, easy to refer to the screen. Think some paint to identify facing is needed. Follow the cats, OK Aggravate Mocking Bird, OK Barn Swallows cavort with it, OK Low altitude the flower beds, OK Piss off wife, easy etc. Wish there was a page on alarms. It is a bit busy to look at the screen to figure out what it is telling you. A video demonstrating each feature would be a really nice step in the right direction. After a bit more time I'll expand the flight envelope. 100' up around here mostly gets above the trees as the picture shows. I see how people lose the thing in the trees. I am fortunate to have a big yard and a bigger empty pasture to play. I did not venture over the pond. Fast may be too fast, I just take my time at most things anyway. I think you would have to work at it to make a really hard landing. When I get more confident I need to inspect some parts of the barn's roofs. Flying technique is best to hold altitude and forward / backward controlling direction with the azimuth. Left and right need to be used little. I think there is a mode change for that combination. The text in the manual is too small for my 7 decade old eyes so the pdf manual is better for me but I can't carry it outside. I hope the waypoint thing works well so I can go to sections of the property and fly about a 1,000' radius at a time looking for wildlife and just generally checking things out around me. I figure I may have to reduce the radius to keep within battery range. I wish the batteries charged faster. Audible notices would be better than beeps. They already use a voice so I would not think expanding that to something better than R2D2 beeping would not be too hard. The thing has enough computing power to run a Space Shuttle so making it talk should not be that tough. I would like to also see the gimbal face downward a full 90 degrees. Not doing that is a bit cheeky in the design. If this does not do most of the stuff you want to do with a drone I can't imagine. Good machine so far. ... show more

I had a mishap with the original hs360 and had gotten a replacement from HolyStone. The upgraded hs360s is way better. I really like the new controller and how it plugs directly into the phone. This drone flys great and smoothly. The camera is non gimbal but still takes quality pictures and video.

This drone is exceptionally cool. It autonomously handles takeoff and landing while maintaining exceptional flight stability, enabling extended hovering. Moreover, its camera captures high-quality photos and videos, and it comes with two batteries for added convenience.

This is my 2nd Holy Stone drone and I can say without a doubt that the customer service I received when I had a problem was 2nd to none. They are fast and efficient and as far as I'm concerned, delivered exceptional service. I would not hesitate to get another drone from Holy Stone.

    • Not a good drone, but not a bad drone.
I ordered this drone in hopes of buying a higher quality slightly better than most drone, but also still a cheaper drone. I was piloting the drone for less then 1 day. In this one day of flight I encountered issues with the satellite connection abilities, issues with durability, and issues with camera quality compared to what it was said to be. When taking my drone out for the very first couple of flights, me being a beginner, I tried becoming accustomed to the way the drone operates. I’m no pro, but I ended up having a couple of bumps and bangs against things. I assumed me paying the price that was paid that it would be able to withstand some wear though. Had to take it back in and change the propellers after my first bump, but that seems to be pretty standard for drone propellers. Also the gimbal quality seemed very cheap. My second bump I took the whole gimbal camera system completely fell off the drone. After investigating the drone,I realized the only thing holding this gimbal camera in place was 6 rubber grommets, and a very tiny small piece of plastic that held the camera to the main body of the drone. I have some experience with small electronics so I decided to reinstall this gimbal camera system. After about an hour and a half I got it reinstalled. This was the main reason I bought this drone though and was pretty disappointed in the lack of quality in the camera set-up. If you have no patience for meticulous things you will not enjoy dealing with this issue. It is very hard to work in the confined space you are provided to reinstall the camera. You spend a higher amount on certain features you’d expect the features to be more durable. After some self repair. I Was finally able to get the camera back in operating position. Camera quality was the same as before at least, but I would personally not want the drone anymore after encountering that issue. To reinstall the rubber grommets you need some type of specialty tool, but I didn’t have this so I had to settle for using thread to reinstall them. After this I was trying to take some videos and pictures with the drone. I was able to capture decent videos but, photos didn’t seem to be what was advertised, but I never actually plugged in the SD card so this could have been the issue. Also during the unboxing I noticed the camera had scratches coming straight from out of the package. This was disappointing, but it didn’t seem to effect the camera quality. During the majority of my flights I was having to turn gps mode off due to the controller not picking up any satellite connection. This could have been something I was doing wrong but I was eager to fly so I wasn’t going to let that slow me down, and during these flights I would notice satellite connection would happen from time to time. This drone may be good for someone just beginning, but it wasn’t what I was expecting for the price point I paid. There are a couple of things holy stone could work on to make it slightly better quality that would make it more worth the price point in my opinion. I’ve returned the drone.
