I have adhesive capsulitis in left hip and left shoulder. For me this is a 4 year ordeal per joint. While I use another cane for stability on the left side, I use this on the right side to distribute some load to the right shoulder which is in thaw state. This cane is great for those of us who have trouble getting up and sitting down as that extra handle really helps especially when trying to get in and out of the car. I work night shift so that flash light is great. The name tag and loop makes it easy to not accidentally drop. It comes apart and folds easily and is light weight. One thing that could be improved is if the handle could snap down and stay down and snap up and stay up but this is minor all considering. To make it super multi-functional one idea I had is if it had one of those grabbers on the end. Like if one drops their keys trying to get out of the car they can use the grabber on the end to pick it up sort of thing. The cane is also a nice looking in my opinion.

I got this in red, cause I use it while grape farming and tend to walk away from it where it’s hard to find. I use it for balance after a nerve injury in my leg. I don’t put much weight on it whole walking, bit I do use it while getting up from e’g. weeding around the base of a vine. I bent a similar aluminum cane rated for 200 lbs getting up (I weigh 180). The second handle is brilliant. It slides where you need it and locks in place when put weight on it. It’s much less likely to bend because the force on the tubing is directed downward vs sodeways Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I thought it looked and felt better when I covered the handle with black bicycle tape Very glad I got this!

I've been using a walking cane for years just wasn't happy with the feel of the one I had saw this one while searching for one for someone 6'2" almost 300 lbs yeah I know not a small guy this one offered an assistant handle for getting up and down and handled up to 440 lbs. and looked cool to how can I go wrong. Bought it got it tried it used it all day at a Renaissance fair work great also bought some spring cane tips single and multi-foot style that even made a great even greater experience.

I have severe arthritis in my knees, fibromyalgia and an autoimmune disease. Walking is rough, standing up hurts and standing in one place is worse. This cane really helps! It’s stable, strong and lightweight. The extra handle (that my coworkers call my ebrake for drifting) really does help when standing. The light blue is pretty. I didn’t realize there were rhinestones just below the handle, but I don’t really care. They’re small. The flashlight didn’t work at first. I put in the batteries and the switch didn’t work to turn the light off, but after it got banged around a bit while I got used to using it, the switch started working. I found the wrist strap got caught on things more than it helped so I took it off. This cane has been a game changer for me. I don’t feel completely broken when I get home from work. I can walk a bit farther without breaks. Get this cane!

I purchased a $20 vive cane when I threw my back out, Then shortly after, I came across this one (so I purchased red) three things that got my attention 1) max weight, 2) second handle, 3) color (I like everything red and black) Anyway, now comparing my $20 cane to this $40 cane is tough! They are both great canes, and both have advantages and disadvantages, number 1 advantage is the weight limit of 250 vs 400lbs. My biggest dislike is the Handle, it's not smooth like my vive which is a shame, I also wish the Handle had more colors instead of white and black, I prefer all black. The other disadvantage IMO is how small it gets. The vive gets so small it'll fit just about anywhere, where this one is pretty long, even at its smallest point. I like that I can remove the second Handle when I don't need it as well. I was going to return one, but cant decide which one because i like them both. My biggest dislike is just the ruggedness texture and the white on the handle, but not a deal breaker. Over all both of these canes are great and I recommend either one.

Over the last 6 years my husband has gone from wheelchair bound to walking with an AFO (Hemiparalytic post massive stroke at 49yrs old). He is tough on his canes, which we appreciate because he is working towards recovery. This cane is holding up in the strength and stability category. the second handle helps him get leverage out of a seated position. The only reason I gave 4 stars is with his cognitive disabilities he is not the most careful person. ;) The rubber ring/seal around the flash light broke within the first 2 weeks. The flashlight is obviously not a necessity.
