I've been wanting a pair of hokas for the last few years but couldn't justify the price. I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and starting to experience a lot of foot pain at the end of active days and my other pair of tennis shoes are nearing their end of their life so I decided now is the time. They are definitely worth it. I took my dog for a long walk after work as I sometimes do and usually my feet would be hurting when I get home and need all night to recover, but with these, my feet felt pretty normal. I'm glad I didn't wait. For shoes, I'm usually anywhere between a 7.5-9. My feet are pretty narrow with some bad bunions. For tennis shoes specifically, I usually go for an 8. Since I'm pregnant, I got the 8.5 and they fit well. I have just a little extra room in case of swelling or flattening. I hope they last all of my pregnancy and a few months after postpartum. Love the comforting the hoka sneakers been wearing them for years. They fit true to size 7.5 for me - however I find they break down after 8 months of use and the toe box slips no longer holds foot securely in place. Quite an expensive sneaker for this to happen.
