These sneakers are AMAZING! My 80 year old mother has severe neuropathy in both feet with both feet constantly hurting. These are the only shoes that give her any comfort. She loves them! I'm always skeptical of purchasing shoes off the internet, especially Amazon, if I can't try them on before paying for them. I thought I'd give these shoes a chance since I've heard so many positive things about Hoka's in general and the mixed reviews on this shoe had be intrigued. The shoes arrived right on time and were clean right out of the package, which is always a good sign. I put them on and felt instant comfort as if I was walking on a cloud. I gave them a test run at a local store and they did not disappoint! Walking was easy and soft. I crouched and it was a little awkward but standing back up was a breeze. The support at the bottom of the shoes is exactly what I need for a long day. The support at the bottom of the shoe is thick and provides plenty of cushion that makes each step comfortable and easy. I work in healthcare and am constantly on my feet, so I need the cushion. I gave them a test run at a local store and they did not disappoint! Walking was easy and soft. I crouched and it was a little awkward but standing back up was a breeze. I wore them for the first time today at work and after an 8-hour shift I can say with confidence that these are the best shoes I've had in a long time! Would recommend! ... show more

THESE ARE SO COMFORTABLE! The size is perfect. However my tip is look at inches not just US or Europe sizing. I am a 7.5 but usually wear an 8 for the thumb width space. However, the sizing was a bit confusing trying to figure exact fit. So measure and google inches for Hokas. I’m giving 4 stars because of materials used. I’ll give 5 after seeing how long they last. Also before buying from Amazon go directly to Hoka website for pricing. I’ve been pleasantly surprised finding lower prices. $160.00 USD directly from Hoka. I am a longterm Saucony Integrity 3 wearing soul, until of late when they quit making it. I inquired as to what could be as close to Saucony Integrity 3 in comfort and support and Hoka Bondi 9 was one of the suggestions. I remember my late sister telling how she broke down and bought a pair of Hokas and was so thankful for the comfort found in them. SO, I ordered them and immediately felt the relief and support that I needed. PLEASE do not quit making this shoe. I have found my new favorite shoe. I didn’t realize how comfortable these shoes were until my nursing clinicals! I originally bought these shoes after doing a lot of research, but honestly, I didn’t think much about how comfortable they were once I started wearing them. During one of my clinical rotations, I noticed that two of my male classmates were frequently squatting down or resting their hands on their knees because they seemed to be getting tired from standing and walking for so long. They were wearing regular shoes. Meanwhile, I was wearing my Bondi 9 and didn’t really feel like I was having the same problem. I didn’t even think much of it at the time. Later, I noticed that one of my classmates had switched to the same shoes as mine. 😂 The large HOKA logo made it pretty easy for me to recognize them! They are definitely expensive, but after actually wearing them through clinicals, I can say that I think they are worth the money.
