You can not go wrong with Hoka's. While they are pricy shoes, you absolutely get what you pay for. These are supportive yet very comfortable shoes. My ankles roll on occasion when I walk but these shoes correct my gait and I do not find that happening nearly as much. I highly recommend these shoes.

Love these! Was a Brooks girl all the way but over the last few years they've changed the designs so much and their shoes now hurt my feet. I decided to give these a try and they are sooo comfortable! Fit well, don't flare my Achilles tendinitis or plantar fasciitis. Comfortable toe box, good for walking and every day use. Love the support this sneaker gives my poor feet. Have broken 4 toes on one foot and have fallen arches and narrow heel. These feel great on. Great support walking so happy!

    • Love Hoka Gaviota!!!
This is my 3rd pair of Hoka Gaviota. I use this motion control model since I have one ankle that over prorates. I got my first pair in 2017 when I was training to run my first marathon and they got me to the finish line (even though I felt like I was wearing clown shoes)! I liked that they gave me more cushion than the Brooks I'd been wearing. My running days are behind me now, but these are so comfortable for my chronic plantar fasciitis so I can still take walks without too much pain. ... show more

The shoe is very cute and has many great reviews, so I decided to go ahead and try them out. I was very disappointed with the hardness of the foot bed, lack of arch support (I do have high arches), and overall lack of comfort. My feet and arches hurt after a 2 mile walk, which never happens otherwise. Normally, I wear ASICS cumulus or nimbus, which I will be sticking to in the future. Very disappointed, it’s too late to return, so I will be tossing these in the back or my closet or trying to find them a new home. ... show more
