Hoka shoes were suggested to me by a physical therapist when my knee pain became so bad I could hardly walk. Within a few days of purchase I could walk comfortably. I will probably never buy another kind of shoe. My first pair lasted almost a year before I had to replace and these are still going strong four months in.
