I work as a nurse and I would recommend Hoka 1000x before another shoe. They are so comfortable that after a 12 hour shift my feet don't hurt at all. They do take a few days to break them in. PROS: 1. Beautiful shoe, loved the colors! 2. VERY lightweight. 3. VERY spongy and comfortable (on the bottom). CONS: 1. I wear a size 11 and never had an issue buying shoes that are a regular width. These are on the narrow side abd the instep is tight. 2. I think these are overpriced honestly. 3. My big toe hit the end of the shoe. 4. Shoe strings seems shorter than normal. I returned them. I bought 9.5 wide. I have flat feet, no arch. The shoe is made with an arch that feels a little more noticeable than other shoes I’ve tried. I replaced the soles for flat soles and it definitely made the difference for my feet. I bought 9.5 regular at first but when I noticed the feeling of the arch in the shoe I knew I needed to exchange for 9.5 wide. They are very lightweight a big plus. An even bigger plus is the toe area is very roomy. My feet are very skinny and long but to be comfortable I still need room around my toes and these shoes got that room. Breathable and comfortable to run in. The soles are not bouncy but they are definitely thick enough to where you don’t feel the hardness of the ground. I recommend. ... show more

The first thing I noticed was that the shipping box was so light, I thought they sent it without the contents. But my size 9.5 shoes were both in there. Almost weightless!! The colors were more vibrant than in the screen image. They were already laced up which is nice. Don't always get that. But the most important thing is how they felt on my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and am almost always in some degree of pain from my left heel. When I tied these on and stood up . . . no pain. WHAAAT?? I walk between 3-5 miles a day and was hoping for much more from these. Just an average athletic shoe, in my opinion, a little too tight and stiff. Did not feel much comfort or relief during long walks compared to any other walking shoes. Definitely not worth the price.
