Most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever worn but the Clifton 9 has issues with the rubber on part of the soles coming unglued. I understand the Clifton 9 s are being discontinued and I am hopeful the updated version is improved in this regard. Otherwise, wonderfully comfortable shoes. I wear Hokas exclusively now.     • Hoka doesn't honor their warranties
I bought these shoes for my son in May 2024. He used them for work since he is on his feet all day. He loved them, but this month, October 2024, they developed a clean rip on the right side of the right shoe where the material separated from the sole. I started a warranty claim with Hoka and sent the shoes back to them. I tried to follow up with them, but they couldn't track it with their return number. They need the UPS tracking number of my shipment, which I had misplaced. Low and behold, I got the shoes sent back to me by Hoka. They said they couldn't honor the warranty because it had expired. It's a 1-year warranty. I called support and they still couldn't track using their own number. They wanted the original UPS tracking number. When I finally got support to understand that Hoka sent the shoes back, they said no one can oppose the warranty department, not even a supervisor. I asked for a supervisor and all I got was, "We will take your info and someone will get back to you in 24 hours." They don't want to let you talk to anyone nor will they give you any kind of tracking number for support cases. These shoes are expensive for such poor, disorganized customer service.
