I am always in search of supportive and comfortable sneakers as I’m on my feet all as a dog walker. I typically do 20-25k steps a day and have my sneakers on all day. I used to wear ASICS because they’re super supportive however they stopped making the model I liked so I’ve been trying other brands. I had a lot of people recommend Hoka, but so far I’m not super impressed/ as impressed as I was with ASICS. I used to have a pair of sneakers for 4-6 months when I wore ASICS. Considering I’ve only been wearing these for 2.5 months I’m not impressed with how they held up considering how expensive they are. The lining in the heel started ripping out within month 1 of me wearing them (I picked the size appropriate for my feet). I love how much cushion there is on the bottom but the bottoms still wore out fast which isn’t ideal. I started having some heel pain/discomfort a week ago and then today discovered there’s actually a hole in the heel of my sneaker… These do run a tad bit small so I’d go a 1/2 size up from your normal sneaker size. I typically do a 7.5 but did an 8 in these. Overall I love how comfortable & light Hoka’s are but I’m not a fan of how fast they wear down/ cheaply made they are. I personally don’t feel that a sneaker should only last 2/2.5 months of wear… but maybe that’s normal if you’re doing ~ 20k steps a day? ... show more
