I work as a nurse and I would recommend Hoka 1000x before another shoe. They are so comfortable that after a 12 hour shift my feet don't hurt at all. They do take a few days to break them in. Why my title said most expensive shoes I’ve ever purchased, but I am really glad that I purchased them. They do hold up to the hype that your feet do not hurt after standing for a long day. Wore them to Disney World and didn’t have a trouble at all now I wear them to and from work my only complaint is that the back that helps you get them on has kind of broken down a little and it’s hard to get back up sometime. ... show more

PROS: 1. Beautiful shoe, loved the colors! 2. VERY lightweight. 3. VERY spongy and comfortable (on the bottom). CONS: 1. I wear a size 11 and never had an issue buying shoes that are a regular width. These are on the narrow side abd the instep is tight. 2. I think these are overpriced honestly. 3. My big toe hit the end of the shoe. 4. Shoe strings seems shorter than normal. I returned them. I received my shoes for Christmas and love the color as well as the fit. My feet do not ache and throb at the end of the day when I wear hoka shoes I have learned the more expensive Hoka shoes support my feet longer. My $125 choices wear out more quickly.

This model is wrong for my foot, apparently. The toe box is ok, but the arch! without my orthopedic insert, the arch is too low. With it, it's too high. the heel isl too wide, making the shoe ride up and down as I walk.
