First I need a wide toe box but not a wide shoe. I don’t want a shoe sloppy in my heel area. This shoe fits perfectly! I did size up a half size. The cushion is comfortable without feeling like I sink in; it is what I want with excellent support. I have wanted a white shoe that is not to boring but not “logo loud” I don’t buy shoes to tell people look at my brand. I buy what fits and feels good. These hit all the marks for me. The zero toe drop sets me in my sweet spot. I have high expectations of them lasting a long time! They aren’t cheap but I expect to wear them often and long term. ... show more

    • Best Shoes I've Ever Had for Walking
I recently retired and now have time to walk - a lot. However, after a couple of miles, my feet were incredibly painful. One of my very active athletic neighbors told me I needed to order these Hoka shoes and added it was likely I'd not have pain for long distances. He was right - I've easily done 6-10 miles now with no pain at all in my feet. I wish I'd ordered them years ago. I paid just a little more than the previous high end walking sneakers - which are now at Goodwill. Highly recommend if you like to walk, but get fasciitis/severe pain in your feet after a given distance. ... show more

    • Hoka doesn't honor their warranties

I bought these shoes for my son in May 2024. He used them for work since he is on his feet all day. He loved them, but this month, October 2024, they developed a clean rip on the right side of the right shoe where the material separated from the sole. I started a warranty claim with Hoka and sent the shoes back to them. I tried to follow up with them, but they couldn't track it with their return number. They need the UPS tracking number of my shipment, which I had misplaced. Low and behold, I got the shoes sent back to me by Hoka. They said they couldn't honor the warranty because it had expired. It's a 1-year warranty. I called support and they still couldn't track using their own number. They wanted the original UPS tracking number. When I finally got support to understand that Hoka sent the shoes back, they said no one can oppose the warranty department, not even a supervisor. I asked for a supervisor and all I got was, "We will take your info and someone will get back to you in 24 hours." They don't want to let you talk to anyone nor will they give you any kind of tracking number for support cases. These shoes are expensive for such poor, disorganized customer service.
