I bought this to shoot my brother with whenever he falls asleep in front of the TV. Bought this for my husband and my kitty who likes to chase balls. These are small enough and light enough for her to pick up and carry in her mouth. They are bright enough to see when they end up under the furniture and you won't break an ankle stepping on them in the middle of the night. This toy is much smaller than expected, the balls are tiny, and the packaging is ugly as you can see in the picture, I was expecting this to come in a normal, nice box, I ordered two gifts for my grandson, the other one is a Science kit, and that one also comes in an ugly cardboard box. Bought two guns for the kids for Christmas and they loved them. It doesn't take a lot of muscle to shoot them so it is great for younger kids. Some nerf guns are hard to cock and load but this is dead simple. No mechanisms to jam and break. I also got three more guns for my nieces and nephew. They don't have great distance on the shots but it is enough for playing in the house. I would say 18 ft would be a good long shot for a little kid. The balls are big enough that I don't think they would be a choking hazard for very small children. ... show more

Easy to use. Foam balls are VERY soft, no worries about them hurting people, animals, property. Mindful alternative to a toy “gun”, it’s a ball launcher. I do not like that it has a trigger like a gun, would be a more thoughtful design for children and adults without a faux trigger.
