I had high hopes for this. The reviews seemed great, I was excited to get it in the mail. Comes with directions, seemed pretty cut and dry, however there is no way to watch it from your phone. And the directions seem correct however the camera does not follow them. I couldnt get it to record for more than 5 minutes. Motion detection didnt work and you need to have motion detection on or it will stop recording and go into standby mode. Not a good purchase, did not work the way it is advertised. I don't know who's writing these reviews but it has to be somebody at the company. ... show more

    • Well-built and easy to set up / take down
The metal ‘ribs’ can be quickly pulled outwards to form the dome shape, and there’s a metal tab on each one to release it. This makes it very easy to set up and take down without having to insert or remove all of the splines. The small inner diffuser can also be left in place - it’s a little fragile - and you can also leave the outer diffuser connected, unless you need to change between the thinner and thicker one. Finally - you can use the ‘egg crate’ to more tightly focus the light - keep in mind you don’t have to stretch it across the whole thing. One great use I saw was a vlogger only putting it across the bottom half to reduce glare on product demos, while leaving the top half open to light themselves more fully. ... show more

I bought this for home security purposes. The directions weren’t too hard to understand. Anyways, the quality of this camera is so bad. It says 1080p but it’s very blurry and grainy and very zoomed in. Night vision mode barely works. You literally need to be standing right in front of the camera if you want to capture something in night vision mode. I don’t know why this product has a lot of positive reviews. Maybe my unit came broken or something. I’d stay away and buy something more higher quality which is what I should’ve done in the first place. ... show more
