It uses durable thread-stitch binding, allowing the book to lay flat without needing to be held open.

I’ve been using this planner for the past 15 years. I wouldn’t use any one different. Size is perfect, ink does not bleed through the pages and it is compact and easy to take with me. It holds tons of data and my go to place to store important information that I will need over the years.

This is an elegant, compact planner with incredible paper that doesn’t warp with watercolor paint or bleed through with Sharpies. It’s small shape means I can carry it in my vest pocket.

THis pocket sized planner is way overpriced and way overhyped. Paper is thin but nice for fountain pens. That's about it. Not buying again.

Hobonichi’s are the best compact planners using Tomoe River paper which is a thin, durable, non-bleed through, smooth paper. The thinness of the paper allows many pages in a nicely compact planner. The planner set up has a vertical yearly calendar, monthly, and daily and other typical pages. Once you write on the Tomoe River paper you’ll never want anything else! I wouldn’t miss a year without my Hobonichi! Highly recommended!
