I got this bag mainly for travel. I love the combo option to use it as a shoulder bag or backpack. I need a bag that is lightweight and packs pretty flat in a small roller bag. I only travel with carry-on luggage, even overseas, so that's important to me. I also need a bag that holds a lot and that's suitable for a lot of walking. Switching from shoulder bag to backpack lessens the strain on any one particular area. Backpack style is usually more comfortable during the day. But then I sometimes need a nicer 'dinner purse'...but one that still holds an iPad and other valuables that I don't want to leave in the car, room, or airbnb. This combo bag does the whole job for me. The bag is as described and pictured. It's lightweight but not flimsy. It is easy to adjust. In the photo, I have the shoulder strap as short as it will go. I'm 5'6". I do have two problems with the style, but it comes down to personal preference and I think I know how to fix the issues. First, the chains are really cute when worn as a backpack--they're pulled taut. But when wearing it as a shoulder bag, they hang down pretty far and make a bit of jingling noise. They're a little too much distracting bling for my taste, though I can see how they'd look cute in certain situations. My solution is to twist up the chains and secure them with a clip on the side that faces my hip, so they're almost entirely hidden and perfectly silent. My second problem is the stiff plastic structural piece sewn into the lining on the bottom of the purse. I have high hip bones and this plastic thing kind of hits my hip and makes the purse stick out more than I'd like. I think the photo shows that it looks fine, but I still might open the lining and remove the plastic piece, reduce its size, or replace it with something a little softer or narrower. I could sew or patch up the lining after that. No one would see what I'd done. Anyway, overall, this is a cute, sturdy, lightweight, packable combo bag that will probably get a lot of use. ... show more

This bag is cute and almost accurate as pictured. The silver is a nice matte silver and plenty of room inside. The only negative is it is a little bit more firm or stiff and doesn't have the slouch that it looks like it does in the picture. Okay, I didn't get this bag cos I wanted a inconspicuous tote or whatever. I got this bag cos I liked how loud it was - I honestly thought it was going to be a little louder in person (or maybe hoped?), but its big and very roomy! The strap confuses me if I'm honest, but that isn't a detractor in my book. The bag is roomy, cute, and looks exactly how it's shown in the description image! I like the shape, size and color of this bag. I was looking for a large, light summer bag, simple and comfortable. I generally like the crossbody types, but the backpack is even better. The silver color and the additional backpack straps were main reasons for me picking this bag. They are also the reasons for taking the two stars off. The material is going to be scratched in no time. I was hoping to take it to the beach or day around the town, so it will be laced on rough surfaces… The backpack straps are really uncomfortable, it is not how they should be made, here they are on the sides, impossible to carry on the back (see picture). I used to have a beautiful bag/backpack purse in the past, the crossbody belt and the straps were connected, and the bag would bend comfortably to adjust to the way you are carrying it. Whoever designed this bag had seen the pictures, but did not bother to figure out the “engineering” aspect of the design. Too bad, it could be a great affordable summer accessory.
