  • Perfect!
I love these shoes! I want to order another pair, but they are not available now in black size 9. My feet are wide and they fit perfect and they are very comfortable. I wear a nine and I ordered a nine, perfect.

  • Best zero-drop shoes with wide toe box
These are hands down my favorite shoes. I bought the grey ones first, and loved them so much I went back and bought all the other colors. They are true zero-drop, and my balance is so much better when wearing them vs any other shoes that tip my weight forward by elevating my heel, even if it’s just a small elevation. Balance is a real problem as I get older, so I love feeling more sure-footed now when outside. I take the insoles out and put my own orthotics in for arch support due to plantar fasciitis, and I’ve stopped having pain in my feet since wearing these. I can still feel the ground even with my orthotics in, which is important for balance on uneven surfaces, but the soles are still thick enough that I can walk on gravel comfortably. Keep in mind that the insoles they come with do not have arch support, so you’ll need your own if that’s something you need. They have a wonderfully wide toe-box that gives my toes plenty of room to spread out, so I no longer get sore toes, corns in between my toes, or pressure bumps on my little toes. But they aren’t so wide in the back that they slip off my heel, with or without socks. I have oddly shaped feet with very short toes, a narrow heel, and a wide forefoot. These feel perfect, and I’m wishing I’d had them my whole life! I stand on my feet all day, and these help my feet stay pain-free even if my day is extra-long. I can’t say enough good things about them, and they’re now pretty much the only shoes I wear. If I had one request, I guess it would be to add more colors? But they already come in 5 colors, so I can pretty much pair them with anything for work. I also bought their winter boots that are waterproof and just as comfy. I highly recommend this brand if you’re even thinking of changing into zero-drop or barefoot shoes. Money well-spent. ... show more

  • Awesome barefoot shoes!
These are awesome. They look cool, feel sturdy (for barefoot shoes), and are comfortable to wear. I definitely recommend sizing a half size to a full size up. I normally wear a 9 and it was a little tight on my toes. No arch support but that’s a good thing for this product lol. I definitely recommend these. ... show more

  • Not suitable for those with plantar fasciitis heel pain
These are such a nice looking shoe, not your typical white soled athletic shoe. I really wanted them to work for me, but they do not have enough cushion in the heel for someone like me with plantar fasciitis pain, even using my custom orthotics. The wide toe box was very comfortable though. Good traction on the sole. (Brown, size 38, women's.) ... show more

  • Different colors on fabric of the toes, but a very comfy fit!
The suede fabric on the toes of the shoes were two subtly different materials and very slightly different colors that changed into very different colors once in the sunlight. The shoes themselves were very comfortable which is why these got 3 stars. Since I’ve worn different Hobibear shoes my plantar fasciitis has all but disappeared. The pain from a slight bunion has decreased as well due to the extra room in the toe box. I purchased a similar version of Hobibear shoes in all leather variety that (fortunately) were the same color in both shoes and have done wonderfully. I think the color change on this particular version was a one-time thing since my other shoes from Hobibear have been great. ... show more

  • Great quality, a bit wide
I wear barefoot shoes all the time, but the brand I prefer is very minimalistic and not the most comfortable for hiking. I wanted something with a bit more of a sole to protect my feet from rocks as I begin training for a 14er. I think these will work well. They were a little wide. I don’t typically wear socks, I kind of hate them, but with these a pair of socks was necessary and feels good. If anything changes once I wear them hiking, I’ll edit my review. There’s not a lot of our support since they’re barefoot shoes. The size seems to be accurate. The quality seems very good. Other than being a little wide, they fit well and like I said, socks made the difference. ... show more

  • Sneer at gravel in zero rise.
Finally, a zero rise shoe with thick enough sole to use on a rocky rough mountain trail. Looks nice. Once laces are adjusted, can pretty much slip them on without opening and re-tying. Giving some of my old shoes the heave-ho. I will definitely be getting more of this brand.
