  • Surprisingly well made, great barefoot shoe!
Size: 10 Wide Women/9 Wide Men Color: Orange
I love these shoes! I have worn barefoot style shoes for more than a decade, and have had expensive and not expensive shoes. These literally are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I am used to barefoot/zero drop shoes. I want to feel the ground. I am barefoot most of the time, as we wear no shoes in our home. I only work out of the home part-time. These shoes are actually more comfortable for me than my more expensive Xero sneakers (which I do like). My feet are not super wide, not slim...they changed size after menopause, I hover between 10 and 10.5 depending on the shoe... The 10 fit me great in this shoe; I wear them with socks. I have the orange (I always wear brightly coloured clothing in oranges, magentas, purples, aquas), and I'm so worried that the company will stop making them that I think I'll order another pair to keep for future. I've had these for a year, I wear them at least once a week, and they have not yet worn out. Pleasantly surprised by that!! ... show more

  • Disabled Veteran Review
Size: 10 Wide Women/9 Wide Men Color: Black/Brown
I am a disabled Veteran, with fallen arches, issues in my left ankle, issues in both knees, and sporadic pain in one or both feet. I typically wear boots with a wide toe-box and custom insoles provided to me by the VA. However, for the last several months, I’ve had chronic pain in the blade of my left foot, with sporadic pain in various parts of both feet. This came to a head a few weeks ago, when after a normal day with no incidents, my left ankle stopped supporting me as if I had a moderate to severe sprain. I began wearing a compression sleeve and switched insoles, which was a short term fix. But I began to suspect the boots-and-insoles solution I’d adopted was a bandaid instead of a cure for whatever the underlying issue might be. I purchased these shoes as part of an attempt to rehabilitate my lower appendages, in conjunction with the compression sleeve on my left ankle; no insoles. I will update this review as necessary. DAY 1 These shows are comfortable, and my toes have ample room in the wide toe box. I have no issue walking, and minimal pain only in the bottom of my left foot. I have found the shoes to possess ample tread across multiple styles of hardscape terrain, in both wet and dry conditions. I’m looking forward to seeing how they hold up in the coming weeks, but so far, I like them a lot. ... show more

  • Durable!
Size: 8 Wide Women/7 Wide Men Color: Light Grey
Durable! I have had these shoes for 14 months, and I have thrown them in the wash a few times! I haven't had any tearing from the soles. They look about as good as the day they came in the mail. The soles haven't worn out. and they aren't scuffed at all. and the color hasn't faded. They are my go-to, and I wear them multiple times a week - sometimes every day. sizing is true to size, and I find I rarely have sore feet after wearing over 8 hours. They also breathe nice, so I don't have smelly feet either! Because they have lasted so long I just ordered another pair in different color. I have worn them camping and hiking and they were uncomfortable mostly because I could feel every rock I stepped on. ... show more

  • Great but too big
Size: 8 Wide Women/7 Wide Men Color: Black
Initially when I ordered these it said they ran small which is definitely wrong. I would order a size smaller than you normally get unless you're very wide footed. I usually wear a womens 8 so that's what I got, but there was wayyy too much toe room (see picture of where my toes actually stop vs how much room there is). I wore them for a day to see if it was tolerable but I'm going to return them and already ordered a smallers size. Otherwise, they're great! Super lightweight and very comfortable. ... show more

  • Excellent purchase for challenging feet after
Size: 9 Wide Women/8 Wide Men Color: Wine Red
I have never worn zero-drop shoes, but based on this purchase, I will order more. I have extremely high arched, high volume (tall), and wide feet. It has always been a problem finding shoes that are even slightly fashionable so I mostly wear Birkenstocks. The past decade I have noticed that this is beginning to change as more manufacturers are broadening their sizes. I only recently became aware of zero-drop shoes and I would recommend reading more about them online. Many of the articles I read said to start slow wearing zero-drop shoes slowly to allow your feet to get used to them, but they were immediately comfortable. I was looking for walking shoes, but obviously wasn’t paying attention when I chose these because they are more like classic Keds. I was going to return them, but after trying them on and the low price point, I am keeping them. They are wide in the toes and they fit my feet so well. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have purchased in a while. Even in such a light shoes, my feel supported. These are not water-resistant and I wouldn’t wear them on really rainy days, but they are perfect for running errands. They are labeled “fashion” shoes. And speaking of fashion I find the quite cute. One of my friends said they look like duck feet shoes which wasn’t the look I was really going for, but they spread out in the toe-box so maybe she has a point. Carrie Bradshaw probably would not wear them, but ducks are cute. Right? I plan to purchase these in another color and look for zero drop walking shoes in the future. Update: After wearing these shoes I would not recommend these for walks. A lot of these zero-drop shoes are listed as walking shoes state which I take to mean that they can be worn for actual walks. That is not my experience. Perhaps the company just means you can walk in them because after a shortish walk the bones on the bottom sides of my feet really hurt. Because of the thinness of the soles (much like Keds) I was surprised they called them walking shoes. I will wear them in the future for running errands, but not for any type of walks. ... show more
