  • Rc Stand
Great Stand for rc which can keep it stable when working on it

  • Useful on multiple scales
This compares favorably to the name brand stands. It will hold 1/8 scale stuff if you need and won't bind up, although it is mainly sized for 1/10th. It is too large for 1/24 scale, but for that you really do t need a stand anyway. For 1/10th scale this is a better buy than the hobby shop brands, it works great. There is a tiny bit of assembly when you get it, but that isn't an issue considering the intended user base. Overall I'm super impressed with the materials, using some loctite on the screws made this a rock solid maintenance stand. ... show more

  • Why did I wait so long?
Amazing. Had to do some maintenance on the differentials and shocks. This thing saved me time and aggravation. The holes are perfect for shocks and differentials. The magnet although week holds the grub screws just fine so I didn’t lose them. You can lock it in place or let it spin. No directions but not needed. I would have paid more for it. Only regret is not buying 20 years ago, yes resting on your wheels works but this is a must have. ... show more

  • Very Happy with this Stand!
I would probably rate at a high 4.6 stars! - Not quite perfect but very much a good stand for my 1/8 Buggy. Very easy install, and the whole unit feels sturdy. The tightening screws don't always stat taut. However the system is pretty sturdy and won't just turn around on you or mess you up. 0 issue thus far with this unit. Would absolutely recommend. This unit even helped me rebuild shocks because of the built in circle outlets. ... show more

  • Great little tool!
This can stabilize and support 1:8 to 1:12 scale models - I wouldn't think much smaller but maybe a size or two larger. The top can swivel around to allow you to look at various sides but also twist all the way down for stable support. Shown are 1:8 frame from Blockzone, 1:10 tracked HUMVEE from Blockzone, and 1:12 FMS HUMVEE. ... show more

  • Just do it!
I don't know what took me so long to buy one of these. I kept thinking it was a wasted expense. It's not. It makes life so much easier when I'm working on my vehicles. It's high enough for all of my vehicles with the wheels on. Except one, with huge wheels. I just put it on top of a small box for that one. It has a nice magnetic plate for small bolts and screws. Don't be like me and wait for ever to buy one. Just do it! ... show more

  • Nice Stand, with a couple caveats
Pros: Height Adjustable Multiple size holes for shock building integrated Integrated Ruler Looks Cons: Doesn't swivel like you'd think it should Magnet doesn't work for all types of hardware, recessed compartment would be better Aluminum slightly bent/warped in manufacturing or delivery Flat packing for transport involves unscrewing the top and bottom pieces. (I just leave it assembled now and it takes up more space) While this stand does pack very flat, it requires you to unscrew the top and bottom. If you're looking for a quick up and down car stand that packs pretty flat and has integrated storage... look for the plastic stand made by Dura****. That is the stand I've seen most people using, and there may be a reason for that. That stand has a nice swivel, which I thought this would do as well... wrong... The post screws into the base. You can leave the post a little loose and essentially unscrew the entire thing as you swivel it around, but it is not a smooth action and then leaves the stand a little less stable. I like the two hole sizes for shock building, which is better than the other stand, and the integrated ruler for measuring suspension links or hardware lengths quickly, but if you're going for precision you'll be using a caliper anyways. While the magnet is nice when using steel hardware, it provides no assurance when using titanium, aluminum, or stainless hardware, which is where a nice recessed compartment would be better. I had no issues with assembly like others I've seen, though it does seem that the top piece of aluminum is slightly bent or warped. In all, this stand is usable. Although if I were to do it again, I would go for the plastic stand it seems everyone uses. I just liked the idea of having two different length rods for height adjustability. The reality is that I just always use the longer rod. ... show more
