I was looking for the right dark teal curtains to go in my dining room and ended up ordering these. I love the colors and design, but when I hung them up they looked absolutely ridiculous. They were so stiff that the way they hung was awful. I started a return, but then decided to try washing them and drying them with fabric softener. It helped a ton! They look so much better, so I decided to keep them after all. They block light extremely well too. My husband got up in the morning and thought the power went out because it was so much darker than it normally was with our previous curtains lol! These are 100% black-out curtains with a very pretty design. I put them in the dryer and touched them up with a hot iron on the fabric side, however they are so-o-o thick they billowed out at the bottom. I might have to take them down adn lay some weights on them to press in some folds, not sure. I'm keeping them because they look great and I need the black-out function. Wonderful blackout ability! Really beautiful fabric. All my bedding is white and walls are mocha, so I really wanted white curtains. I ordered the "white" and altho they are beautiful, they are really pale gray (see photo of them lying on white bedding). Not really happy about the color, but they're up so they're gonna stay. I found it helped to sew fabric weights on the bottom. Curtains keep wanting to slide closed so I installed a bracket to keep them back (see photo). Fabric is stiff but pretty. ... show more
