Description

We are the inventor and the ONLY manufacturer of this instrument. We mainly promote this portable instrument, because it's a well-designed instrument. It has beautiful appearance and high quality. I think it's a classic pocket sax. After a period of practice, you can make it sound more like a real saxophone. We hope this reed instrument can bring you happiness! The instrument has sold tens of thousands worldwide since its launch in the summer of 2018. We provide after-sales support. This instrument is very suitable for gift giving, because it's easy to learn Saxophone after learning it. The skill of blowing mouth on the mouth is the same as that of saxophone, because it also uses the middle tone Saxophone flute head. The timbre can be said to be extremely similar. I didn't know I thought it was saxophone. Add a musical pleasure to your life. Please rest assured to buy.

  • My husband loves this
It has a richer sound than you would expect from a piece of plastic, which was surprising. It uses real reeds, so you might want to get extras.

  • Not Fun—Yet
I just got this pipe today. I was so excited to have something in the key of C so I wouldn’t have to transpose to play with my friends. I was also thinking it would be so much easier to set up than my alto or tenor sax. I even thought it would be much easier to play given the small size. Well, I put it together, which was very easy. But when I tried to play it, I was very glad I know how to play a regular sax. At least I could get sound out of it. It took a huge amount of breath to play three or four notes. I changed out the ligature and reed for some I knew worked well on my alto. That helped a little. I’m going to keep trying to play it snd hope for the best. UPDATE: I gave up after several attempts to play. I couldn't sustain the amount of air it takes to get notes out of this pipe. Returned. ... show more

  • Powerful little instrument
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to learn how to play a reed instrument. It took a few weeks but I was able to get the hang of it eventually. The included mouthpiece is so-so, consider getting a basic Yamaha 4C alto mouthpiece to speed up your learning process. I'd also suggest starting with Plasticover 1.0 reeds. That's what I'm using in the video. The video has reverb on it, just an FYI. All in all, I consider this a good deal at this price for people wanting a playable first reed instrument. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for.
Decent for a novelty item. It's pretty dang hard to believe you can play much of anything on it. The upper range is so difficult to play chromatically that it would be hard to play anything other than Mary Had a Little Lamb in anything but a few keys.

  • A Right Choice
This “8-Hole LittleSax” was ordered on 3/5/20 and arrived on 3/10/20. It seems to be a well-made and nice looking instrument. Following the included instruction, it’s easy to assemble and ready to play. While never playing with any instrument with this type of mouthpiece before, I was able to play some simple melodies right away. The recorder type of finger holes is very helpful. In fact, it’s a nine hole system, for there is one more hole than usual for right thumb in back side. Though the size is about 2” longer than a soprano recorder, it’s sound is loud enough to me. Glad to make a right choice. ... show more

  • Nice sound, With Lots of Frustrations
The LittleSax is a great way to make music. I got it because I though it would be a nice way to set in my chair and play. It is advertised as a 2 octive instrument. It can hit 2 octives but not at first. You will need to learn how to bend notes. The instructions that you can download is not very clear. Being in Chinese with English notes flashed on the screen every now and then. I have ask for the sheet music that can be sent via email several times with no respons. I can get good sounds from it but the fingering of the notes are strange. You will need to learn the numbering system used because it is not in traditional music notes. I also own the Minisax which is a similar insterment with a more traditional fingerings. I do love the low full tone of the LittleSax. ... show more

  • Not for beginners
This isn’t for beginners... I played the alto, tenor, and baritone sax for yrs, and I’m very musically inclined. That being said, it was a bit difficult adjusting to this instrument. I’m still feeling it out, but have improved greatly with time. I am fairly satisfied with it for the price.

  • Portable
It's very handsome, but it's a big tonette with a reed. The YouTube lessons are easier to follow than the earnest inventor. They all omit to remind us to "puh" into the reed.
