This jewelry armoire is very well made, color is a deep rich turquoise, looks beautiful! I was very pleased with the quality. I read that there was a few negative comments about the key will not come out when it is unlocked. I found the work-around for that. Open the top, the locking apparatus will come UP FROM THE BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE ARMOIRE WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY. Turn the key back and forth to look at the movement. Ok, got it. Now take the key out, PARTLY UNSCREW the lock so it is LOOSE and move the locking tab 180* from the back side up and over to the front side. 180* Tighten the screw up. That is it. Now put in the key, the POSITION OF THE KEY IS different now. Before the key would turn from back to front. Now the key turns from front to back. Try it now, the key can be removed locked OR UNLOCKED. To no fault of the seller my box came so banged up and smashed I thought there was no way it would NOT BE DAMAGED. Well everything was perfect except the back of the armoire had damage. I am not going to make a fuss since it is on the back and is small and not visible however per the sellers website they will work with you to replace anything that is damaged. The armoire is boxed with plenty of THICK styrofoam for protection, and is super simple to assemble. Just screw on the legs, slide in the drawers and screw the mirrored top on. I love this. I read some of the reviews & yes, there are a couple of very small spots where the paint is missing, but that's not enough to bother me. What bothers me is the photo that displays jewelry & has both sides open. This picture shows bangles/bracelets hanging from the cords on the sides. Fun fact, unless you want to leave the sides open, the sides aren't deep enough to close with bangles on them. I'm currently trying earrings on the cords, with minimal success. I also wish for wider ring slots - some of my rings are too wide to fit in those slots & it's frustrating because I want to be organized and I can't fully get there. ... show more

Bought this to consolidate all my jewelry from storage boxes and anti-tarnish wraps into one cabinet. The turquoise looks great with the Southwestern furniture and decor. Slightly worn/imperfect finish. Would give it 5 stars except you can't open the doors without lifting the lid -- in an apartment every flat space is real estate. Assembly requires attaching the legs and top. Instructions could be a bit clearer, but just takes a few minutes after you figure them out. My tip: this is a heavy piece so I attached silicone sliders on leg bottoms. ... show more

I had accumulated an army of different jewelry boxes and they were taking up way too much surface space. I decided to invest in a cabinet with the hopes of consolidating all of my jewelry items into 1 piece. I am also pregnant so the idea of this cabinet being lockable was a major plus (for those curious toddler years!) this was also going to double as my night stand in my room. It all worked out perfectly for all of these things except… I did not realize that I wouldn’t be able to open the doors without opening the top. This is a maaaajor disappointment! The top has posts that sink into the top of the doors to secure them in place so even in the “unlocked” state, nothing is really accessible unless the entire unit is opened up. This means nothing can live on top of the unit unless you intend to take everything off and put it back on again each time you need a piece of jewelry. Bummed! ... show more

Looks and feels like a solidly built antique armoire. I was so happy with this, I purchased a second one. I design jewelry myself and have always had a great passion for collecting it as well (so I need a lot of good storage for my pieces). Every jewelry collector knows--if you can't see it, you'll forget you have it and not wear it. This armoire is essential. It has good deep storage drawers for larger items. Lots of partitions in most drawers to keep items separate. Generous ring tray with deep protective velvet. Also, the two sides swing open to hang longer chains and necklaces. The top even has a mirror. It came mostly assembled, so there was no problem there. Very well packaged, so arrived in perfect condition. I have turquoise blue ones, and the paint is perfect and lustrous. The only thing this does not come with is a jewelry person to polish the pieces. :) I would not hesitate for a second to get another one from this company. ... show more

I love the color and the way this armoire brightens up the room. But there are some drawbacks. First, it wasn't all that easy to assemble; the seller could learn from IKEA's directions and should also include the necessary tools. Second, as others have noted, the drawers do not have gliders so when you pull them out, they eventually clunk downward. It would be so much nicer if the drawers could glide smoothly in and out. Third, only the top four drawers are divided into compartments; the bottom three drawers are empty with no way to organize items. The seller does sell two inserts separately which duplicate some of the existing configurations (how many ring holders do you need?) and do not make the best use of the drawers' space. However, I found the perfect solution which I am sharing to save you the hours I spent online searching on the Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock and the Container Store websites. The Display Guys on Amazon make insert trays that are the perfect size for the drawers of this armoire, measuring 14-1/2 x 8 x 1-1/3". In fact, you can easily fit two trays to a drawer or use a tray on top of the built-in trays in the first four drawers. You have a choice of five fabrics and eight configurations, from 32 compartments (great for earrings) to eight compartments for bracelets or chunky necklaces. The trays stack neatly on top of each other and can be easily pulled out of the drawers. I highly recommend the combination of this armoire and the Display Guys insert trays. ... show more

I love the color and style of the jewelry cabinet. However the drawers are unsupported. When open they fall forward and down, which makes the jewelry fall to the front of the drawer. I feel it’s made poorly. Very disappointed.
