Bought this for my 10 yr old son and he honestly thought it was an interesting little robot. Loved that he can assemble it multiple different ways. It wasn't just a one and done toy which was very nice. Also couldn't wait to show some of his friends as well. They liked that it was something they could create and use some what of an imagination to see how to create different ways for him to look. It's a great special gift for a child who has time to tinker around with something. Some pieces were a little smaller than I thought they would be so I would recommend assembling it on a table.

Overall this is a fun gift. Two of my kiddos are 5 & 7 so I put the head & main body together with them as those two parts were pretty intricate with the gears having to match up and the solar panel. My 7 year old was then able to follow the instructions and complete the full body on his own. Its a fun project to do with your kids if they are younger - Id personally say 8 or older would have a great time doing it on their own! It makes a super fun robot at the end!

This is such a cool little kit! It was well organized and even came with stickers and bags to separate all the pieces. We built as a family and really enjoy all 12 designs along with how easy it is to use. No batteries!!!! Solar power (or even a light bulb inside) and it GO'S. Makes a great gift and highly recommend it.

I gave this as a Christmas gift. Friend didn't open it until 6 months later. The kit was missing the instruction booklet and the motor. Right now this is useless. Update: Histoye contacted me and offered a full refund. I accepted the refund and ordered an identical item because friend's kid was very excited about this toy. Hopefully the new kit will come with instructions and motor. Upgraded to 3 stars for the company's effort to make things right. Will update once I get the new kit.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic toy for the price. The kit is easy to take apart. You can get a little fancy with the pieces and make things that aren't in the original book. It's a great toy for beginners getting interested in robotics and trying to learn as they go.

Checked the motor before attempting to put the 190 pieces together for my son, and it does NOT work. No life to it after setting the solar panel in the sun as well as attempting with the 50 watt bulb as the instructions insist. Super disappointed.
