Our son begged us for a pair of Camo Muck boots however he is growing very quickly so it was hard to justify the cost. THANKFULLY I found these boots! He is so excited! So far things are going well and he has used them for about 3 weeks already. Pheasant hunting, mud, and damp weather have not even affected the boot - seem durable to me! Not sure how warm they are at this point, but will find out soon enough for Minnesota winters! ***UPDATE*** These boots did not last the winter before developing holes! So frustrating!     • Torn sole in just over a month

just after the return window closed (30 days), the boots came apart at the sole just enough to let water in. The boots were pretty comfortable otherwise, but at $60+ for a month of use, you may want to reconsider these. UPDATE// Hisea honored their warranty and I got some new boots. Love the boots great quality. Ordered for my husband who is in co structio. Was recommended I order a 10 since he wears a 9-9.5. Unfortunately they are too large but he has worn them and decided there is too much movement causing blisters, so we can’t return. Recommend anyone try them and be sure before wearing in the weather. ... show more

I got these boots to hike streams and comb though the rocks and although I haven't had them for very long, they are perfect for my needs. They're comfortable with thick wool socks, waterproof, slip-resistant and high up enough to protect my legs from getting wet. The sole is thick but soft, so it helps for traction, but not the best for hiking down steep hills. There is a removeable insole, so a more substantial one could replace the original. I was hesitant about their durability because of the price, but the fact that they have a lifetime warranty and a customer has already affirmed that the company will honor that warranty immediately, alleviated my concern.     • Quality and comfortable boot at reasonable cost
These boots right out of the box felt like quality boots. The rubber is softer and more pliable than similar boots of other brands. This made them very comfortable on the feet. The upper portion is constructed of comfortable neoprene, and the seam where the neoprene meets the rubber is sealed off well for water tightness and no leaks. On the back of the heal there is a little notch that protrudes. It works well to help get the boots off when pushing down on it with the toe of your other foot. A nice little added feature. I thought the boots fit a little roomy than others I have tried. I had more wiggle room in the tops of the boot than the length or sides. It wasn’t enough to make it uncomfortable to walk. I actually prefer it that way so there is added room for a thicker pair of socks if needed. Overall these are a good value boot that are comfortable to wear. Looking forward to see if they withstand a little wear and tear out in the field. ... show more

    • A little loose

I bought size 11 and it is a little loose fitting -but would work well with moderately heavy socks. With that said, the boots are heavy duty and the tread grooves do not clog up with clay or stones (or manure) which is surprising! An excellent boot and would recommend!

    • Great boots at a reasonable price point

I purchased these boots for my growing son. I own a pair of the Muck brand boots which are outstanding, but didn't want to spend the extra amount for a boy who will outgrow them in 6 months. I have to say that these boots are very close to the same quality as my Muck boots. The material may not be quit as thick as my Mucks, but for the price point is close enough. They kept my sons feet warm and dry during a Boy Scout winter campout, and the foot tread is very good in the snow and mud for playing/working. If you're looking for a good alternate to the gold standard of boots, than I would recommend giving these a try. ... show more

    • Thin and splitting (?) sole
Size: 8 Color: Black
Two reasons I bought these: (1) the rubber goes higher up the ankle (less exposed neoprene) which helps durability as neoprene is ripped more easily as you go through the bushes, and (2) I like the look of the sole better than some "rounded" versions out there. I returned my purchase however, the reason being that on the front of the sole the thickness of it is like 1/16" or less (if you subtract the thickness of the thread), meaning that a small rock / gravel that gets between the threads will easily puncture it. There was also a feeling like there was an air bubble trapped in front of the sole or some separation of layers happening, more so in the left boot than the right (so, maybe part of it is a manufacturing irregularity). All in all, the sole has portions that are unacceptable thin for what the boot is meant for. BTW, if you are at half size, my experience indicates that rounding UP is going to work better for you. ... show more
