So light and comfortable. Not very cushioned, which is the point of these shoes. It does feel like I am walking lighter on my feet. The arch support is not there for this particular shoe. I do feel more connected to the ground. My balance is good. I will buy another pair. I love how they look on my feet and my toes have lots of room while at the same time the shoe fits my foot. Getting used to these shoes. There is no thickness to them, so if you’re walking on a graveled area, you feel that through the bottom of the shoes. They are comfortable for the most part. My first 3 days my feet hurt bad. ( mind you, they always hurt, so I don’t blame the shoes.. my feet are adjusting) day 4, they feel pretty darn good! A lot of comments on the rainbow color. Very light, look great with white capris and blue jeans. I’m satisfied thus far. I’m not looking for a miracle.. but my main hope is the balancing.. my degenerative bones in my feet are causing me to fall a lot.. so I’m really hoping these help with balance. I’m waiting for my black pair to arrive. I’m hoping to wear them daily at work. 95% of my work attire is black pants, so praying that these help and I have a new every day shoe. ... show more

Overall I really live this shoe. It has helped relieve pain from a bad hip and improved my balance and posture. The thin liner is perfect for comfort and helps to protect the sole of my foot around the house and yard. I do not like the little holes in the sloe of the shoe. These Hike Footwear shoes are fabulous! They are well made, soft, wonderful wide toe box and allow my feet to feel the floor. In recent months I have had an ongoing problem with sciatica on my right side and after wearing these for several days the sciatica is gone. I will definitely be buying more.

I really love these shoes and the reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is you can not wear them in the rain or when it’s wet out. I wish someone would have said something in the reviews. I find out the hard way. I’m at Disney, started raining. The folk with water from the soles. Socks are wet water filling through the bottom of the shoe. They are very comfortable and my feet don’t hurt anymore but they are sunshine only shoes. I only have this pair with me so trying to dry them has been a challenge. My first pair of barefoot shoes. Can slip off if not fastened tight enough and yeah, I meant fastened and not tied. One single lace with a tightener you can tighten.
