I ordered these to have a few extra pairs of readers around and also hoped they would help with blue light since I spend a fair amount of time in front of a computer. The readers are stylish and clear, but I can't detect any blue light filtering at all. I have researched this blue light filtering subject quite a bit and all I can say is that clear lenses are not going to filter any substantial amount of the normal visible light spectrum. This means they are not going to filter out enough blue light to make a difference in how your body reacts to sitting in front of a computer. Unfortunately there are no standards or regulations to control what is allowed to be advertised as blue light filtering, so I feel like it is all marketing hype. Just use your favorite Internet search engine and look for 'how to test blue light glasses' keeping in mind you don't need some light pen since they don't work anyway. I went with two results: 1. thlsleep - test-blue-light-glasses: This place shows a triple circle RGB intersect with red, green, and blue as well as the colors they make when intersecting. I could not detect any differences in the colors when switching between the naked eye, my normal readers, and these glasses. They also recommend looking up at a clear blue sky where you should notice a slight yellow tint will appear. I tried and didn't see any difference there either. 2. wikihow - Test-Blue-Light-Glasses: Next I tried using the "RGB Color Wheel" by searching for it on the Internet. When I found it (dawnsbrain) I opened the graphic in a separate window. Again, I saw no noticeable difference when switching between the naked eye, normal readers, and these glasses. However, these are nice readers and I'm happy to have a few extra pairs around. They are comfortable too! So I'm not going to give them a terrible review, but I am taking away a star for the whole Blue Light thing since I feel like they are being misleading. I do not recommend these if you are looking for Blue Light filtering glasses because they aren't going to make any difference whatsoever in that regard. If you are just looking for some clear and nice looking readers, these are a good deal at only $19.99 for 5 pairs when I ordered them. I would still order them again knowing what I know now. I’ve bought reading glasses that were all-day-wear excellent (good for many hours of work or reading) for about twice the price per unit. These felt good enough on first putting them on that I figured they might do the trick because they’re *that close* (at least at this magnification) to feeling spot-on. However, in comparing them to my favorite readers I see that (at least for my facial geometry and how they sit on my nose) there’s the slightest angular variation in power that makes them less-than ideal for extended use (particularly when using multiple monitors arrayed vertically). That said, at the price they’re great for leaving here and there to have on-hand (in the car, in the media room, etc.) for short-term use- I find them far superior to the five-packs of cheap plastic readers carried at supermarkets and bargain stores.. ... show more

These reading glasses are pretty nice for the price. They are light and comfortable, nice looking and the lenses are distortion free. The frame seems strong and the arm spring hinges work well. My box of glasses came with 5 pairs of readers, 3 cleaning cloths and 3 sheaths for storage. The only issue I can find with them which seems to be common with budget readers is that the ear rest pieces are not fully secured to the arms. These aren't as loose as with seem readers but do have a very slight amount of play in them but not enough to bother me. For the price, I feel good recommending these if you are in need of some budget readers. ... show more

This is a very well made pack of five blue light reading glasses . I got the 3.0 strength which is what i wear and they were clear and i could read up close perfectly . They state that they are for men but I think they will work for both men & women . There are springs in the stems for comfort .

One can never have too many pairs of reading glasses. If you're lucky enough to just need standard readers, not a prescription lens, then these are the glasses for you. They are light weight which is nice for wearing but also the reason I deducted one star. They aren't as robust as heavier readers, but then those typically cost a lot more. The lenses are good with no distortion at all. If you need extra readers as spares, consider this deal. ... show more

If you’re like me that misplaces your glasses almost every day, this is definitely for you. Blue blocker glasses are very important to me and when I put them on, they really feel comfortable.
