I am a cancer patient and have to drink a massive amount of water to flush out the Chemotherapy. I didn't drink much water before, and this device helped me break that habit and learn to drink 2 liters of water daily. That is a lot, and I couldn't have done this without Hidrate Spark. Literally this helped save my life going through Cancer treatment. Note: The sip lid is VERY FRAGILE. If you are like me, I drop things easily. There is a tab over the sip cover that breaks really easily. It is clearly a product design defect. To fix this I ordered some thermoplastic and just added a layer of it on the back of the tab. Do this as soon as you get your thermos. Otherwise, it will break within a few days. If any stress hits the tab while it is open, it just snaps off, and then you can no longer drink out of the container. It is a simple fix that I wish they would address. Before I figured out this I ordered and went through 8 of the lids. You can buy them on the manufactures website but they are not cheap and you have to buy a minimum order or they hit you with $20 shipping. So be sure to just add some thermoplastic to the back of the flap that covers the drinking straw. Since I have done this I have gone almost a year without it breaking. The other option is to order the Chug-style lid. At this point you are better off manually setting yourself alarms and tracking intake. The app is a user experience nightmare but has to be used in order for the bottle to begin to work at all. I couldn’t get the bottle to light up but one time across several hours and by that point it had stopped tracking water intake despite being connected. I wanted it to work but the app is what is holding it back from being a decent product. If a better non-subscription version of the app is built for it I’d maybe rate it higher, but until then I would not recommend to others because its core features are not even reliable.

Overall I like the water bottle I've drank more than I normally do which is cool. It's what its advertised to do! Few things that would make it amazing! One: Everytime I set down my water bottle after drinking it does some little light thing. Two: notifications to my phone and or watch Three: once an achievement is done another led light thing. I just think since the bottle is an led bottle and it's connected to your phone and you pay a pretty penny it should be a little more interactive. Just my first day review I'll try to come back for an overall review later! Update I've had this bottle for about a week and a half it's really frustrating that it stops tracking my water intake but I am drinking more water! I had to disconnect and reconnect the bottle to Bluetooth too many times I sent it back to have a replacement sent to me. I'm hoping it's just faulty but we'll see! If I get the same issue I'll probably just send it back and get a refund Update to the update: I got a replacement and it's been amazing! It actually does light up every time I drink water. And it definitely does send little notifications to drink more water. I am very happy with this water bottle and have now chalked it up to the previous one just being a faulty bottle!

I’ve been using it for a day now and the only thing I don’t like is that I’ve been sipping water and the tracker doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s because I take very little sips or because I put ice in the bottle. But either way it defeats the whole purpose of the bottle which is to track your water intake. I’ll try it for a few more days but I don’t think it’s worth the price… UPDATE: After using it for about 5 days now I decided to return it. I feel that is NOT worth the price. First thing I didn’t like is bottle has this fabric loop attached to the cap for you to hold/grab the bottle. I really did not like that it was fabric because every time you have to wash it or rinse it, it says wet for almost the whole day. 2nd the water bottle is SO HEAVY and the loop is so small that it only fits ONE finger. So you’re essentially carrying like 5LBs on one finger and it hurts. I would’ve been nicer if it had a swing or something like the hydroflask/Owala bottles have. Next, I found the water tracker to be such a hassle. Pretty much everyday it had incorrect readings and I would have to go into the app and manually deleted some of the intakes/add intakes. What’s the point of paying for an $80 water bottle at that point? It’s great idea I just think that it has a lot more room for improvement. It’s not as easy and care free to use as I thought, it was actually quite annoying. It did keep my water cold tho.

This water bottle is incredible it track my water and I have drank so much more with it. I love how it lights up and give me notifications to drink water. It’s always reminding me and super stylish. I think the handle can be better and the water intake sometimes is not accurate but it’s still a great purchase!
