They fit well and could be worn with or without a belt. The best feature out of all is the breathable fabric. Helps to reduce the sweat and chaffing and paired with a good inner padding system makes for a very comfortable ride. They are fairly durable and can take abuse of backwoods or downhill style riding. I was looking for shorts that pack easily and zipper pockets for better protection from pickpockets. I just received them so I cannot judge the longevity of them but they are a little stretchy for comfort which I love, lightweight and will take up little room in my luggage. Zippered pockets are deep and plenty of them. The cargo pocket are zippered and a button flap over it. Waist has velco adjustments if needed. I'm 6'3" 235 34-36" waist and the waist is fine but a tad snug in the fruit basket but stretchy so it's not bad. The material reminds me of hybrid shorts and would dry quick if you got wet. I'll probably buy other colors.

I work outdoors so a light, durable, waterproof pair of shorts is great. I really like the waistband has slight elasticity to it to expand. I am in between sizes so it makes it more comfortable. Just a couple of takeaways I thought needed improving. The bottoms fall right at my knees making me slightly pull them up before bending otherwise they get caught on my knees. Guys with longer legs won't have this issue. I'm 5-9". Secondly, although I live the multiple pockets for storage of cell phones, wallet, keys etc. The pocket placement is not equal on the left and right side so putting both hands in your pockets at the same time is awkward. Other than that great shorts. Wish they came in a light grey.

This is my second pair and really enjoy them biking. Ample pockets to store my items. Did many 20 to 40 miles rides and thhe shorts hold up well. Suggest you wear biking shorts under.
