Learned the hard way, this does not work with a 83 Kdx 200, put I hole in my clutch cover because of the screw to tighten the kickstart clamp

    • Why so much paint?
I bought this Kickstarter because it looks identical to the one on my other pitbike but I thought black was cooler than silver so I went with this. It looked like it was assembled and then drowned in black paint. There's so much paint on it every was seized. I had to crank on the clamp bolt to get it out. Once I got it on the bike I couldn't fold out the Kickstarter by hand. I had to hit it with my foot to get it to fold out. It kicks fine but won't fold in on its own like my other one because it's binding of on the 800 coats of paint. I'm sure over time with gobs of lube it'll get better but ... Like come on. What's with all the paint? ... show more
