If you ride a late model softtail and don’t want to trade a kidney at the dealership for forward controls, these are an excellent deal! Took about an hour to install, with the most difficult part being the shift lever between the engine and the primary, but easy enough to install as long as you have access to some tools. Being 6’1” these put the footpegs right where I need them. The paint is high quality, and the footpegs are comfortable as well. They look good on the bike as well!

This kit was way better than I expected for the price. Not sure why people are complaining about the hardware quality, it looked just like the factory parts. Install was a bear due to all the factory thread locker but that's like this product's fault. I'd happily buy this again if necessary.

Great kit for a great price. Was looking at getting the Harley kit then I found this one. The fit and finish is exactly the same as the name brand. Packaging was great with both sides being separated in the box for easy install. My only complaint was some of the hardware specifically the main mounting bolts. They seemed to thread in tight, may have been the pre applied loctite but I only got them a couple of turns in before they got super tough almost like they were the wrong thread. In the end I used the OE bolts for the main mounting brackets to the frame. I just wire brushes the threads clean and applied new loctite and they threaded in just fine. Other than that this kit looks exactly like the OEM one for a third of the price. If you're on the fence, just do it!

To start, invest in torx bits. I got a decent set on Amazon for 23$. Follow the preassemble instructions, it helps. If you're not feeling a nice bite on the torx bolts, give them a couple taps with the hammer to ensure a nice seat. Take your time. For the most part, everything was butter and stupid simple. The only thing I did not like was the Allen screws that came with (for the foot peg brackets). One rounded and ended up being a nightmare. Just reuse the original torx bolts after cleaning them up. The look just like factory installed. Excellent quality (except for the Allen screws). Fit perfect! Stats: I'm 5'5" and wear motorcycle boots; I feel like it's an almost perfect reach. Went for a ride after installing and cleanup and definitely found it more comfortable than mids. 2022 HD Street Bob 114 FXBBS (yes, these fit perfectly). Might look into a custom toe shift knob as I feel like I'm only catching it with the tip of the boot sole. Braking is much more responsive, with less travel/pressure/reach. The set came with absolutely everything, even grease. Only thing you'll need is torx sex in addition to the usual, average tool set.

Installed on my 2022 Harley Softail Standard. Installation was quick and easy. These turned out to be everything I expected and a bit more. The quality of these forwards rival kits that cost way more. There are many sellers on Amazon and Ebay selling similar kits. This particular kit actually cost a bit more. But the quality of anything is in the details. All the hardware is there. The instructions are decent and filled with diagrams to assist in assembly and installation. I could have saved myself some money with a cheaper set, but I am glad I spent the few extra bucks. I highly recommend these if you are thinking of upgrading mid controls to forward controls.

Harley 2023 Softail Standard. The OEM kit is 600.00 and for all practical purposes this kit is identical. The only difference is that the original parts (mid-controls) may be steel and these are aluminum. Everything you need is included including a tube it lub for the moving brake and shifter parts. This is a first class parts product with even the packaging / box has foam fitted inserts for the parts and hardware in sealed bags. The instructions are an identical copy of the OEM instruction found on the HD site. There are several YouTube videos that are very helpful. Experience has taught that a small torch on the original bolts that are threadlocked helps to ger the bolts removed without stripping the bolt head. A reward job and a big money saver with his kit.
