Great kit for a great price. Was looking at getting the Harley kit then I found this one. The fit and finish is exactly the same as the name brand. Packaging was great with both sides being separated in the box for easy install. My only complaint was some of the hardware specifically the main mounting bolts. They seemed to thread in tight, may have been the pre applied loctite but I only got them a couple of turns in before they got super tough almost like they were the wrong thread. In the end I used the OE bolts for the main mounting brackets to the frame. I just wire brushes the threads clean and applied new loctite and they threaded in just fine. Other than that this kit looks exactly like the OEM one for a third of the price. If you're on the fence, just do it! ... show more

This kit was GREAT!!! Looked OEM and was easy to put together. Instruction were great also. The only I had issues with was did not get the grease(Lucky I had some)and I wish they would put a black and chrome cap in the kit. My bike has a chrome primary cover so I had to go to the hardware store and found a 1/2" chrome cap to fit it. But all in all great stuff. ... show more

Rating it 5 stars due to the fit and finish being great (especially compared to the $700 version from the motor co). I did have 1 bolt strip but that was on me. Definitely worth it to upgrade using this kit!

4 Star review because despite what Rufus says, this kit does not come with foot pegs or floor boards. Everything appears to be of high quality with nice powder coating, but I can't install it until I get some foot pegs, and can't really test it out until winter is over

If you ride a late model softtail and don’t want to trade a kidney at the dealership for forward controls, these are an excellent deal! Took about an hour to install, with the most difficult part being the shift lever between the engine and the primary, but easy enough to install as long as you have access to some tools. Being 6’1” these put the footpegs right where I need them. The paint is high quality, and the footpegs are comfortable as well. They look good on the bike as well! ... show more

A complete kit, including a plug for the hole left in the primary case. Paint look as good as OE. Fit was perfect. No issues at all with the installation. I’m adding pics; the floorboards and shifter tip are mine. Included directions appear to be exact duplicate of the Harley kit; the Harley part number is still on them. ... show more
