I love these boots! they are one of the best shoe purchases I’ve made in a long time. I just wish that I had gotten them a size smaller. The size 8’s that I got still fit with big socks. I would definitely buy these again.

The fit and comfort was good on these. They were, however, very roomy in the toe box area. I actually had to get an insert for these…which was perfect cause it gave me a little more arch support as well. Good sturdy boots. Have not worn them hiking yet though.

I really liked that these boots came to me so quickly, my others were falling apart on my feet. In reading others info before purchasing I saw ‘true to size’ several times however this isn’t true in my case. I always wear a woman’s size 9 which I got, when I put them on I went back to the box to see if I was mistakenly sent a men’s boot - nope! I think I could put 2 or 3 pair of heavy socks on and still be able to wear these. I’m not sending them back for a couple reasons; 1-I really need them now and 2-maybe the air barrier around my feet will work out to my advantage. I am glad they weren’t to pricey or I would ship them back first thing. Be advised… not true to size. Am very sure they are at least 1 full size over true. ... show more

TRUE WIDE WIDTH HIKING SHOE! I am a size 8 in torrid usually, however sometimes they're too narrow. I ordered an 8.5 in these to accommodate socks. Perfect fit!!! UPDATE: using a few times a month for hikes and camping and they still look nearly new. Slowly breaking in. Like I said, for lighter use these are a great deal and will last a long time. They are also a good enough deal for heavy use if you are struggling to find wide work shoes. A pair of these twice a year cost about the same as a really nice pair once a year. Downsides: -heavy as hell, but that adds to the workout so I guess I'll deal with it -needed to buy arch supports (technically a plus in the long run but still set me back seven additional dinero). Upsides: -very wide. I mean I have VERY WIDE feet. The curse of the widest feet on Earth. Olympic gold in wide feet over here. They are certainly wider than yours because in all my years on Earth, I have yet to know a person with wider feet than me so the odds are slim that you are that person. Also I have VERY high arches which makes me require even more cabin space in my shoes. So basically, if they fit my hamdogs, they'll fit yours. -room for arch inserts. This is a plus in my opinion, when a hiking shoe has a removable "placeholder" insert. It allows you to customize the foot bed to fit your own arch, basically transforming them into a much higher quality shoe. -for light to medium use these will last many years. -they're actually kind of cute for what they are.
