I’ll be honest — I didn’t expect to like these as much as I do. I bought my first pair of Hey Dude shoes because everyone kept talking about them, and now I get it. Right out of the box they felt broken in. No stiff heel. No rubbing. No “I’ll wear them around the house first” phase. Just slip them on and go. They’re incredibly lightweight — almost to the point where you forget you’re wearing shoes — but they don’t feel flimsy. There’s enough structure to feel supported without feeling bulky. Comfort-wise, these are on a different level for casual shoes. The insole has just enough cushion, and the wide, flexible fit makes them perfect for long days on your feet, travel, or just running errands. I’ve worn mine for everything from quick store trips to all-day outings and never had that “I can’t wait to take these off” feeling. A few things I especially appreciate: • Easy slip-on design (huge plus when you’re in a hurry) • Breathable fabric that doesn’t overheat your feet • Surprisingly durable for how light they are • They look good with jeans, shorts, or joggers If I had to nitpick, I’d say they’re not meant for heavy-duty work or super rugged terrain — they’re more of a comfort-first lifestyle shoe. But for what they’re designed for, they absolutely deliver. I already plan to grab another color. If you’re on the fence, just try one pair — you’ll probably end up with more. I normally wear a 9.5 shoe, so that’s what I ordered. The first pair were too tight. So, since they don’t offer 1/2 sizes, I returned the first pair and reordered a size 10, and they fit nice. I like that they have a nice thick, soft insole.

    • Heydude cheap made shoes and very lightweight. Hope they hold up...
They're nice looking shoes but with all things HEYDUDE, they're made like paper mache light. There's like no weight to them and I'm sure they're made as absolutely cheaply as they can be made without falling apart outright, yet they aren't monetarily cheap for sure. Time will tell how they hold up but by the sheer non weight of them, I'd guess a couple years if that. We'll see.... ... show more
