    • My favorite shoe for colder weather
This is my second pair of this style. I do feel like the first pair had a little bit softer upper material but I think the rigidity of these ones should make them more durable. That's a trade I'm willing to make. These are my go-to shoes for winter in Michigan. They look good with jeans and the height keeps the snow out. I love the closure system. It makes it very easy to slip these on and off and keeps them secure on my foot when I'm wearing them. On top of all that they are very comfortable. Overall these shoes are great. They are easy to slip on and off. More importantly they are very light, comfortable, and warm (even on a zero degree day). The only reason I won't give them 5 stars is the size. They run very small. Get at least a full size larger than what you normally wear.

I am a big Hey Dude fan. When I discovered they had boots I was all in. By far the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I wouldn't go hiking in these and they don't have toe protection, but I use them for work anyway. I mean, I don't think they could hold up to heavy duty labor like roofing or framing, but that's not what I do. I am a technician and I have to go up and down a lot of stairs and also do some crawling around to get underneath machines to fix them.. what I need is something that isn't heavy and that is very flexible.These are so light. Before I discovered Hey Dude I had a lot of problems with my feet. I have this great massage machine that covers the whole foot and it's warm, but I would have to keep my feet in that thing for an hour after work. Now it's in a closet. My feet have never felt so good. The wide toe box gives my toes a lot of room. The material which is very convincing and durable suede pleather fools everybody. The fact that I can just slip in and out of them is also important because sometimes I go into fancy homes to do repairs and I am asked to takeoff my shoes. That's a real pain with regular boots, but these amazing things feel like slippers. The material you are walking on feels a little bit like recovery slides… Those thick cushy flip-flops that make feet feel better. It used to be when I got home the first thing I wanted to do was get my boots off, but sometimes I will come home and forget. They feel good to walk around in all the time. ... show more
