I love this shoe. It fits true to size and is very comfortable. Originally, I ordered a size 12 because that is the size of Hey Dude’s “Wally” shoe that fit me and in the Cody it was too big. I sent it back and ordered an 11, which is my normal size, and it was perfect. The shoe is fantastic looking and so soft. Very comfortable. I would highly recommend this shoe. I require special insoles because of my high arches and heal pain and they fit in the shoe perfectly. I have three other Hey Dude shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I have had in years. The only problem with this company is their sizing is not consistent. When I order a Wally, I must get a size 12 which is tagged as a US-M12 / EU-45. This one is said to be a US-M11 / EU-44. I measured the insoles of both the Wally M12 and the Cody M11 and they are exactly the same size. Very strange. The short version is, Hey Dude’s sizing is not consistent between different models / styles. Overall, though, I am very pleased with these shoes as casual everyday shoes.

It took a while to get my husband to try a classic Dude....now he has five pair (even though he keeps telling me one pair is enough, he still wears them when I order them). He was hesitant about these. When they came in, he said they looked like they came to life from a cartoon character's feet (think about Doug's shoes). However, once he got them on, they are now worn on the regular, even to work. Extra padding, thicker soles, even a bit wider. They are comfort extraordinaire. Canvas outer. Have only had to spot clean up to this point. He has had them a while and they still don't show hardly any wear and tear, even though they are worn regularly. Definitely grab them.

I was looking for lightweight shoes for work and shoes that would keep my feet warm & dry for the snowy winter and I definitely found them. They fit perfectly. They are somewhat lightweight, not as light as the Wendys/Wally's, but still lighter than tennis shoes. For slip resistance, so far so good. The tread seems to work very well on ice or even slippery floors. I will be buying another pair!

They say this a a unisex shoe but do not do a great job of explaining what size a women should be getting. I normally wear a size 7-7.5 in women’s. I bought the 38uk size and they are slightly big. Not so big that I can’t wear them though. But I would have gone down a size if it had been an option. With all that said they are very comfortable and I wear them almost daily. I love the style!

Shoes are as described but they say they are unisex. It gave the size for men & women. I ordered the size 6 women's and got a size 6 men's. Way too big.
