I got this to go to a music festival. It survived a ton of dust, spilled beer, moshing, shoving etc. My only complaint is that the straps rub against the inside of your arm when you're walking. You could use a seatbelt cover to add padding, or just wear longer sleeves. Just wish they straps were more like a traditional backpack instead of literally just straps

Spacious, comfortable, and sturdy! After looking through what seemed to be every option, I am Glad that I purchased This particular bag. The reviews can be misleading as there are various sizes to choose from. The 30L is perfect for those wishing to carry the works. This bag is able to fit my MacBook air in the protective pocket( with plenty of room leftover for a larger laptop), all four of my texts (one standard size and three thick mid sized books), ipad (with thick keyboard case), glasses case, and my pencil pouch all in the larger pocket. The front pocket is quite large and can easily fit any additional small items you wish to carry. What is really extraordinary is how comfortable the bag is. I am a backpack nut and have tried every style/type of book bag and this one takes the cake. Like my other hershel model, the straps are super padded, giving you comfort while lugging around all of your gear. The shape itself is strong and sturdy, keeping the bag from dropping (as someone with multiple disc herniations...this bag is a miracle). The same items mentioned above in most other bags is just downright painful, not with this bag. Side pockets are nice and big, fully fitting my 32oz hydro flask. Be skeptical of negative reviews that do not mention the size of bag they purchased. If you’re looking for a simply designed bag with plenty of room, get the large size! I purchased The mustard/yellow color and it is exactly the shade shown in the photos.
