I bought this to add to the top of my shipping table so I could record packaging videos. Looks so much better than the MDF top that I started with! I can’t speak to how long it will last, but it is thicker than regular contact paper and it seems to be very durable. The adhesive is quite strong. I used two rolls of it and lining them up was a bit of a challenge, but it only took about 10 minutes to apply both rolls. It helps to have a credit card or some type of scraper to scrape out the air bubbles as you go. I did this alone and I think it would also be much easier to apply if you have someone to help hold the roll as you lay it down. Again, this was for an entire countertop so it wouldn’t be as difficult if you were just lining shelves, etc.

I love the wood look. It’s very forgiving if you make a mistake, you can easily peel it up. It’s not super sticky which can be a plus depending on the project you’re using it for. I haven’t had any issues with transparency. The color is just as it shows. The only thing I DONT like is that it rips easily if you’re not careful. I haven’t had any bubbles or obvious wrinkles that I could fix. Overall, it’s nice and I’ve bought 3 rolls so far

If you are covering a small desk, like I am, GET A BIGGER ROLL! I wanted to buy a new desk, as I'm tired of my current color. The paint had been chipping off, it looked messy, and I was really craving something new. But, my desk is the perfect size for my needs and I couldn't justify spending almost, if not over, one hundred on a new piece of furniture I really don't need. I've come across videos of people using vinyl and decided this could be the perfect opportunity to try it! While it was difficult at first, I started to get a hang of wrapping my desk by the time I did the main surface. I'm so glad I went with this product too! It looks so nice and has freshened up my workspace! However, I bought the smallest roll available and now I'll have to buy more in order to finish the rest of the desk. I'm happy to do so, though. The adhesion is terrible on this and it bubbles to no tomorrow. I have used a TON of contact paper over the years for various DIY products and this is by far the absolute worst I've ever used. I used it to recover a bench and it continuously bubbled. I am not new to contact paper and did all the proper prep prior to applying and have all the adequate tools. It continued to bubble and not stick every where. I ended up buying an adhesive spray and it bubbled even despite the adhesion spray and now the whole thing is a mess and I am not sure where to go from here. Do not recommend this at all. Highly recommend considering other brands.
